There are many types of special attributes in "The Slormancer", and the thorn and counterattack attributes are one of them. The function of the thorn and counterattack attributes is that whenever the character is damaged from any source, the damage source will be damaged and counterattack damage at the same time.
What are the uses of TheSlormancer thorns and counterattack attributes?
Thorns and Counterattack
Whenever the character is damaged from any source, the damage source will be affected by thorn damage and counterattack damage at the same time. Thorn damage is a fixed value damage, while counterattack damage is calculated based on a certain percentage of enemy damage.
Thorn damage and counterattack damage only considers the source of damage, and does not distinguish the way to cause damage. Whether it is melee attacks, long-range projectiles, range damage effects, or dots carried by debuff, its damage source will always be affected by Thorn damage and counterattack damage at the same time.
The calculation method of thorn damage is
Thorn damage = [Thorn damage base value + ∑ (increase thorn damage value)]×[100%+ ∑ (increase thorn damage bonus %)]×∏ (1+Thorn damage ratio correction)
The calculation method of counterattack damage is
Counterattack damage = enemy damage before the damage reduction mechanism is effected ×[Counterattack basic value %+∑(increase counterattack bonus %)]×∏(1+Counterattack multiplier correction)
Note that the damage reduction effect of the character itself does not limit the output of the counterattack %. For example, if a high enough armor value provides a 99% damage reduction effect for the character, then when encountering the enemy's 10,000 skill damage, 100% counterattack will cause the enemy to suffer 10,000 damage at the same time, which is not the 100 points the character receives.
Unless there is a special description, Thorn damage and Counterattack damage cannot be critical.
Some effects will obtain additional damage based on Thorn Damage/Counterattack Damage, which can normally critically and trigger ancestor attacks as well as the damage originally referenced by the effect (skills, elements, etc.).
