"Diablo 4: Hateful Body" has all the rune illustrations and all the effects of rune words. An overview of the rune words in the Diablo 4 expansion pack, Hateful Body, and a detailed illustration of the rune words. "Diablo 4: The Body of Hatred" is the first expansion pack for Diablo 4 (it can also be called a large-scale DLC). Players will follow Raeruir's footsteps to the jungle of Nahantu to prevent the resurrection of Mephisto, the King of Hatred. The Hateful Body expansion pack will add a new storyline, shaman profession, mercenary system and team copy system. Players will accept more difficult challenges and obtain richer loot.
Overview
The new Rune Words added to the expansion are unlocked after the main mission The Cornerstone of Faith.
The language of runes in this game is relatively simple, that is, two runes form a combination.
The runes are divided into ritual runes on the top and prayer runes on the bottom. They can be distinguished from the appearance and can be spliced together.
Helmets, weapons, clothing and pants can now all have two holes.
In other words, it can accommodate up to 4 sets of rune words.
Just match one ritual offering and one prayer and insert them into it.
Ritual runes provide energy, which means how much energy you give based on your actions.
Prayer runes consume energy to release their effects, and these energies are called tribute.
You can see the charging status of your Rune Words above the skill bar. As long as you perform ritual rituals on the Rune (such as releasing ultimate skills, attacking after moving, etc.), the Rune will be charged. When it is full, it will automatically release.
All runes are stored in the Inlays tab of the inventory.
Runes, like gems, can be removed and re-embedded once set.
When dropped, "Rune: XXXX" is displayed, and there are also rarity differences. The higher the rarity, the harder it is to drop.
For example, Zane is a ritual rune, which means that you get 150 points of tribute (that is, energy) for every ultimate skill you release.
Tal is a prayer rune that requires 100 tributes to release the plague-infected swarm.
That is to say, if you put an ultimate skill, it is enough to trigger Tal to release the plague-infected swarm.
Extra tribute (called overflow) will increase the number of insects, which is stated in the prayer runes.
Put two into your equipment and it will work.
Note that every 3 identical runes can be randomly converted into another rune at the jeweler.
You can use this to obtain new runes. The conversion is random, 85% of them are converted to random runes of the same rarity, and there is a 15% probability of increasing the rarity, such as blue to gold-level runes.
(Note that the runes can also be used to make dark gold equipment. Do not synthesize and consume them easily. Increased rarity does not necessarily increase the value.)
