Note that this is not the same as the dash from impact to knockdown.

A slam attack can become a square strike.
Knock-up>Sprint pursuit

x can be used to catch up from knockdowns, or for normal smashes. I don't believe this combo can continue after the square or triangle input.
Fast Z Dragon Dash (1 KI)
PS: x+← or →>R2> (press and hold x then release, click again)
Xbox: A+← or →>RT>Click A
This technique is key - a short step is a valuable mid-range dodge, and sliding into a dragon rush is a killer beam counter. Getting off can be difficult; it seems that if you wait too long after a short sprint, you won't be able to use this technique until you stop and Z-sprint again.
Z burst dash combination
PS:Z burst dash>△>□
Xbox: Z Blast Dash>Y>X
Triangle will launch your opponent, Square will perform the same action as Vanish + Circle (knockdown).
Combined instrument panel (mid-range)
PS: x+↑>□. . .
Xbox: A+↑>X. . .
When your speed changes as you move away from your opponent, you have entered the mid-range and can now sprint. A short forward dash plus a square will start a dash combo. Great introduction! Study hard!
