You can also create Private Room and invite your friends to play.

When a 6 is rolled, the player may choose to advance a pawn already in play, or may enter another staged pawn to its starting square. Rolling a 6 earns the player an additional or "bonus" roll in that turn. If the bonus roll results in a 6 again, the player earns an additional bonus roll. If the third roll is also a 6, the player may not move and the turn immediately passes to the next player.

Gameplay

Ludo is a classic strategy board game played between two to four players. The objective of the game is to move all four of your pawns around the board and into your home quadrant before your opponents. Players take turns rolling a single die and moving their pawns accordingly.

Board Setup

The game board consists of a square with four arms, each leading to a home quadrant for one player. The board is divided into 56 squares, with each player's home quadrant located in one corner.

Pawn Movement

Each player starts the game with four pawns placed in their starting square. To enter the board, a player must roll a six on the die. Once a pawn is on the board, it can move clockwise around the track by the number of squares indicated on the die.

Capturing Pawns

If a pawn lands on a square occupied by an opponent's pawn, the opponent's pawn is captured and sent back to its starting square. A pawn cannot capture another pawn if it is on a safe square, which is marked with a star.

Home Stretch

Once a pawn has completed a full circuit around the board, it enters the home stretch. To enter the home stretch, a pawn must land on the square directly in front of its home quadrant. The pawn can then move forward into its home quadrant by rolling the exact number of spaces needed.

Winning

The first player to move all four of their pawns into their home quadrant wins the game.

Variations

There are many variations of Ludo, including:

* Parcheesi: A similar game played on a larger board with additional rules.

* Sorry!: A variation that introduces penalty cards that can hinder opponents.

* Aggravation: A more challenging variation that involves blocking opponents' pawns and capturing multiple pawns at once.

Strategy

Ludo is a game of strategy and luck. Some tips for playing well include:

* Control the center: Try to keep your pawns in the center of the board, where they are less likely to be captured.

* Move in groups: Keep your pawns close together so that they can support each other.

* Capture opponents' pawns: Take advantage of opportunities to capture your opponents' pawns and slow their progress.

* Use safe squares: Protect your pawns by landing them on safe squares, where they cannot be captured.
