Dispersed Dimensions are challenges you can complete that give rewards such as Gold, Voidrax Crystal Shards, Trinkets, and Arena Powers. There are a total of 9 Dispersed Dimensions located throughout the game and you’ll need to find and complete them all. You’ll also need to complete all their bonus challenges to unlock the Dispersed Dimension Master trophy, as well as make progress towards the trophies Collector and Arena in His Prime. After activating a Dispersed Dimension, you can replay it at any time by talking to Liana and choosing the Dispersed Dimension option in the menu. So if you’re struggling to complete the bonus objectives early on, you can always come back later when you have better equipment.
If you’re completing this on your first playthrough, you can take advantage of Seleria’s Keepsake III trinket, which reduces the damage you take by 50% and increases your damage by 30%. After completing your first playthrough, this trinket will disappear and you can’t get it back. You can get it by dying a few times and pressing continue. This trinket is extremely good and makes some of the harder challenges a lot easier, so it’s highly recommended to clear all challenges on your first playthrough while you still have access to this trinket.
If you ever fail a challenge, you can press the and hold
to restart.

Last Breath
Location: Chapter 1 – Departure, Mount Salvation – Corridor of Ancestry.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 10 Igniter Potions
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes.
- 3 Medicinal Solvent, 5 Gifted Crystals
- Complete the stage within 1 minute 30 seconds.
- GoldenLion’s Ring (Trinket)
Strategy
You won’t have a lot of equipment this early on so if you’re struggling to complete it quickly, try to complete it later when you do have more.
For this one speed is everything. You’ll want to raise your attack as much as you possibly can in order to deal with enemies faster. Aerial Slash with the Sword is an extremely good skill to use for this, as it does a lot of damage. Backstep Slash into Shadow Rend is also a good combo to use as it attacks multiple enemies for a lot of damage.
Lost Hope
Location: Chapter 2 – Beside SkyMirror Lake, Skycrest Badlands -Forsaken Harbor.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 10 Neutralizers
- Complete the stage within 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- 4 Starsoul Nectar, 5 Sharp Keratin
- Defeat all enemies while Health below 20%.
- Manifestation (Arena Power)
Strategy
This one is recommended to do later as completing it with 20% health early in the game can prove a challenge.
The trinkets you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Seleria’s Keepsake III for the 50% reduced damage and 30% increased attack. If you no longer have this, use Lethonix’s Ring instead for a 15% attack increase while below 20% health.
- Ruby Necklace to increase your maximum health, so your 20% health is a bit higher.
- Imperial Token because when you’re below 20% health, it will increase your break by 10% and has a 50% chance of not taking damage when you’re hit.
For Arena Powers, you can mostly bring whichever you prefer, but Phantom Shield is a must as it can negate taking damage for a certain number of attacks.
For weapon accessories, use whatever you want as long as it doesn’t restore your health. So make sure to unequip things like Roses or Butterfly Wings. You’ll also want to avoid using skills like Cross Slashes Sanguine Feast that restores your health to make sure you stay below the 20% mark.
Once you start the challenge, you can interact with the pedestal near the launch circle to put your health to 20%. Once you start, you’ll want to play aggressively while also trying to avoid getting hit. While you have your phantom shield up you can try and be as aggressive as possible and when it’s down you can try to play a little more safe. If you’re lucky as well, the Imperial Token should negate a lot of the attacks that also hit you and by doing the challenge later in the game, the enemies should also get defeated faster.
Ablution of Lightning
Location: Chapter 2 – The Hidden Palace, Skycrest Badlands – Road to Ruin.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 10 Stamina Potions
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes.
- 150 Gold
- Clear the stage without defeating the special Voidrax.
- Heavenstruck Wood (Arena Power)
Strategy
For this one you’ll need to defeat every enemy without defeating the special Voidrax in the center of the arena, which isn’t too bad. The special Voidrax will summon a lot of lightning attacks on you so be careful while taking out other enemies. You’ll also want to avoid fighting in the center of the arena so you don’t accidentally defeat him.
Dance in Shackles
Location: Chapter 2 – The Hidden Palace, Skycrest Badlands – Road to Ruin.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 7 minutes.
- 100 Gold
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes 30 seconds.
- 150 Voidrax Crystal Shards
- Complete the stage without taking any damage..
- Pendant of Fusion (Trinket)
Strategy
This one is better to do later as completing it without taking damage can prove a challenge early on without certain equipment and skills.
The trinkets you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Seleria’s Keepsake III, mostly for the 30% increased attack as the 50% reduced damage is useless to us in this one. If you no longer have this you can use Ring of Assault for 20% extra critical damage.
- GoldenLion’s Ring for the 30 increased attack and 20% increased critical chance. The 50% more damage taken for this doesn’t matter as we can’t take damage anyway.
- Jade of the Instant which will restore 200 Stamina for triggering a perfect dodge, which is great for the method we’ll be using.
The Arena Powers you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Phantom Shield, so you can negate 3-4 attacks depending on the level of the ability. Useful for Wave 2 or Wave 3.
- Manifestation so you can summon an ally to help you kill the enemies quicker without leaving yourself open. Useful for Wave 1 or Wave 2.
- Stellar Guardian so you can deal more damage to enemies as you dodge around them dealing damage. Useful for Wave 1 or Wave 2.
For weapon accessories, you can use whatever you prefer but it’s best to unequip anything related to health or healing as you won’t be taking damage anyway. With the massive critical increase, you could go for 3 Wolf Heads to increase your critical damage by 20% as well. As for the weapon, the Scythe is recommended for this one, specifically with the Phantom Reap ability equipped on Void Cleave as every time you dodge you’ll leave a scythe behind that does a lot of damage. With this, you can spam dodge around the arena to defeat enemies. You’ll also want the Water Form on the Sword so that after you dodge you can continue to hold and build up Unbound Energy easily.
Once you start, keep an eye on the “Complete the stage without taking any damage” challenge. If it gets grayed out at any point then you failed the challenge. The orb in the center will try to pull you in whenever you’re in the red area of the arena, so try and stay on the non-red ring near the center. In the actual center of the area there is a pool of water that deals electric damage when you touch it, so make sure to stay away from it as well. The orb will also call down regular attacks if you stay still long enough, so it’s important to stay moving. Using the Scythe, you can spam dodge around the arena dealing damage with the Phantom Reap ability. When it’s safe, you can unleash some regular attacks as well.
- For wave 1, it’s mostly trash enemies so you can easily defeat them by dodging around with the Scythe and getting a few regular attacks off. You don’t want to use any of your Arena Powers here as they’re pretty easy and the next waves are a lot more annoying. Once you’re down to your last enemy, get him to low health then swap to your sword and use the Water Form ability to build up 3 Unbound Energy, then use the
attack with the sword to finish off the last enemy so you don’t use your Unbound Energy. Make sure to do this quickly before it runs out.
- For wave 2, as soon as it starts switch to your scythe and using the 3 Unbound Energy you got from the last wave, use it on one of the enemies and then instantly use your Phantom Shield. Create some distance and then use Stellar Guardian as well. From here, start spam dodging at them trying to get some hits in when you can. If you ever break one of them, instantly use the Sync Finisher as you can’t take damage while doing this. You want to save Manifestation for the next wave, so make sure you don’t use it. If you prefer to save your Phantom Shield for wave 3, you can also do that.
- For wave 3, as soon as you defeat the last enemy of Wave 2, switch to the sword and use the Water Form to get 3 Unbound energy then instantly switch to the scythe and use them. This enemy likes to hang around the center of the arena so you’ll want to keep doing this until you break them, then instantly try to use a sync finisher on them to push them out of the center. If they’re still alive, try to get as many hits as you can in. If they end up leaving the center, you can start dodging around them and getting some attacks in as well. If you didn’t use the Phantom Shield in the previous wave, use it here to stop yourself from taking damage.
Air Combat Master
Location: Chapter 3 – Neverwind Monastery, Mistwood – Maple River.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 6 minutes.
- 100 Voidrax Crystal Shards
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes 30 seconds.
- 4 Starsoul Nectar, 5 Gifted Crystals
- Complete the stage without taking any damage.
- Pendant of Grace (Trinket)
Strategy
This one is recommended to do later as completing it without taking damage can prove a challenge without certain equipment and skills.
The trinkets you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Seleria’s Keepsake III, mostly for the 30% increased attack as the 50% reduced damage is useless to us in this one. If you no longer have this you can use the Jade of Sacred Deer for 15% stamina reduction while at full health.
- GoldenLion’s Ring for the 30 increased attack and 20% increased critical chance. The 50% more damage taken for this doesn’t matter as we can’t take damage anyway.
- Ring of Assault for 20% extra critical damage.
For Arena Powers you can bring whatever you want, but Phantom Shield is a must.
For weapon accessories, you can use whatever you prefer but it’s best to unequip anything related to health or healing as you won’t be taking damage anyway. With the massive critical increase, you could go for 3 Wolf Heads to increase your critical damage by 20% as well. As for the weapon, the sword is recommended as we’ll need to have enemies up in the air for this one to deal damage to them and the sword has really good aerial combos. You’ll also want to make sure you have Water Form on the sword to build Unbound Energy easier. The scythe is also recommended in order to break enemies so you can aerial combo them.
Once you start, keep an eye on the “Complete the stage without taking any damage” challenge. If it gets grayed out at any point then you failed the challenge. Enemies only take damage while in the air a really good combo to use with the sword is the >
combo to get them in the air, then hold
to unleash an Aerial Slash. Once it’s done, finish the aerial combo using :square:. Some enemies you’ll need to break before you can get them in the air. It’s recommended to use the scythe to quickly break these enemies. For the enemy you need to break, get your Nightblade Energy to max by either spam dodging into the enemy or throwing your scythe with :triangle:. Once it’s full, you can spam attack them to deal massive break damage, just make sure you’re careful not to get hit.
- For wave 1 you have mostly trash mobs that can instantly be aerial combo’d, with 1 enemy you’ll need to break first. Take out the enemy you need to break first as he can be really annoying and hit you on your descent from the small fry. Once he’s done, you can focus on the small fry. It’s recommended to get the ranged ones first so they don’t hit you midair.
- For wave 2 you’ll have some small fry and a big elite enemy. Take care of the small fry here and then once it’s just the elite left, switch to the scythe and build up Nightblade Energy. Once max, use the Phantom Shield and start going to town on the enemy. Once they break, start using the aerial combos on it. If it’s not defeated by the time you’re finished, repeat what you’ve already done. You probably won’t have the Phantom Shield up anymore, so be careful not to get hit. You can also use the Sword Water Form to build up 3 Unbound Energy then use it with the scythe to deal a lot of break damage as well. The enemy does teleport around a lot however, so it might miss sometimes.
Elemental Affinity
Location: Chapter 3 – Neverwind Monastery, Mistwood – Temple of Contemplation 2F.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 9 minutes.
- 10 Tranquilizer
- Complete the stage within 6 minutes.
- 3 Medicinal Solvent, 5 Sharp Keratin
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes.
- Ring of Nature (Trinket)
Strategy
This one is all about completing it as quickly as possible. Both you and enemies deal more elemental damage so you can take advantage of that and stack both electric and frost status ailments to deal big damage quickly, or you can just focus on dealing 1 status ailment at a time. Since the enemies are all elite enemies here and you can’t heal, it’s recommended to bring the Phantom Shield Arena Power to negate some attacks, as well as put 3 Butterfly Wings on your weapon of choice to regain health off enemies affected with status ailments.
Arena’s Feast
Location: Chapter 4 – Fourtides Coliseum, Frosthold – Snowy Coast.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 100 Voidrax Crystal Shards
- Complete the stage within 2 minutes 30 seconds.
- 150 Gold
- Complete the stage without taking any damage.
- Ring of Confluence (Trinket)
Strategy
The trinkets you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Seleria’s Keepsake III, mostly for the 30% increased attack as the 50% reduced damage is useless to us in this one. If you no longer have this you can use the Ring of Assault for 20% extra critical damage.
- GoldenLion’s Ring for the 30 increased attack and 20% increased critical chance. The 50% more damage taken for this doesn’t matter as we can’t take damage anyway.
- Ring of Strategy so the Arena Powers have a chance to do a critical hit.
The Arena Powers you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Phantom Shield, so you can negate 3-4 attacks depending on the level of the ability.
- Mountain Break, as it does a lot of damage.
- Voidmaw, as it recharges quick and does good damage.
For weapon accessories, you can use whatever you prefer but it’s best to unequip anything related to health or healing as you won’t be taking damage anyway. With the massive critical increase and Arena Powers doing critical damage now, you should equip 3 Wolf Heads and 3 Demon Heads for 20% increased critical damage and 12% increased critical chance.
Once you start, keep an eye on the “Complete the stage without taking any damage” challenge. If it gets grayed out at any point then you failed the challenge. Enemies only take damage from Arena Powers, so your only source of damage will be Mountain Break and Voidmaw. In order to recharge your Arena Power Energy faster, you can pick up orbs around the arena that will recharge them. Because you can extremely easily recharge Arena Power Energy, this means you can keep Phantom Shield up for basically the entire time, meaning taking no damage is extremely easy in this one, so you really only need to worry about completing it quickly so don’t worry about just running into attacks. Just make sure you’re keeping an eye on how many shields you have left and how long you’ve had Phantom Shield up.
Master of Weapons
Location: Chapter 4 – Fourtides Coliseum, Frosthold – Icebound Valley.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 8 minutes.
- 100 Gold
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 150 Voidrax Crystal Shards
- Complete the stage within 2 minutes 45 seconds.
- Jade of Martial Art (Trinket)
Strategy
This one needs to be completed quickly and the time limit is pretty strict this time around, so going in with a specific setup can really help make the difference.
The trinkets you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Seleria’s Keepsake III, increases attack by 30% and decreases damage by 50%. If you no longer have this you can use the Ring of Assault for 20% extra critical damage.
- Ring of Continuity, defeating an enemy will restore 125 health, 80 Arena Power Energy, and fully restore your stamina which is really useful in this as you’ll want to try and manage your health as much as possible while also being able to use your Arena Powers as frequently as possible.
- Ring of Nature, increases status ailment accumulation by 15% and increase both attack and break damage by 10% when attacking enemies with ailments. This is extremely useful to quickly dispatch enemies. Just make sure the weapon you’re using is an elemental one.
The Arena Powers you’ll want to bring for this one are:
- Phantom Shield, so you can negate 3-4 attacks depending on the level of the ability. Useful just to stay alive a bit longer.
- Mountain Break, as it does a lot of damage.
- Voidmaw, as it recharges quick and does good damage. Though you can swap this with something else if you prefer.
The weapons and the setup you want to use on them are:
- Sword: Dawn’s Rule
- 3 Demon Heads for 12% critical chance.
- 3 Wolf Heads for 20% Critical Damage.
- You want to try and get all the side stats on them either critical chance or attack so you can deal as much damage as possible.
- The main skills you’ll want for this are Backstep, Shadow Rend, Phantom Slash, and Burst Pursuit: Obliteration. This is because these attacks have massive area of effect and can deal with small fry very quickly during Wave 1 and Wave 2.
- Scythe: Blizzard Fury
- 3 Crescent Dragons for 12% increased attack.
- 3 Crown of Thorns for 15% increased attack against defense-broken enemies. If you’re struggling to keep your health up, you can swap to 3 Butterfly Wings to restore 20 health every time you attack an enemy with a status ailment instead.
- You want to try and get all the side stats on them break so you can deal as much damage as possible to the final enemy which will take most of the time of the fight.
- You’ll mostly be spam dodging to build up Nightblade Energy and spamming
to deal your regular attacks as much as possible, while also making sure to trigger your Burst Pursuit as well at the end if you manage to get the combo that long. The Pursuit Array is probably the best one to use for this fight as the enemies like to move around a lot.
The gimmick for this one is that every so often you’ll see a red flash on your character. This means you need to switch to a new weapon or else you’ll take damage and it will interrupt your attack. If you’re mid attack when this happens, switch weapons and then press to dodge to instantly switch to your next weapon. Doing this will make your next attack deal a lot more damage, so make sure you’re doing this whenever possible. Combined with the Frost & Electric status ailments dealing extra damage when stacked, you can quickly deal a lot of damage using this method. There are a lot of small fry enemies during the first 2 waves, which makes it perfect to regain Arena Power because of the Ring of Continuity, so don’t be afraid to use them to quickly deal with enemies. You’ll also want to use the
plus
ability whenever you can to deal with the elite enemies quickly. It’s recommended to use the sword for this as it has a quicker combo and the boosted damage will help the critical hits with the weapon better.
- For wave 1, you’ll want to rush in with the Sword and when you’re close to the enemies use the Backstep into Shadow Rend combo making sure to trigger all the Burst Pursuits as well to deal a lot of damage. You can keep doing this until the small fry are gone or the enemies start to spread out. When that happens, swap to your Scythe and start going crazy with attacks to try and defeat them as quick as possible.
- For wave 2, you’ll want to swap back to the Sword and do the Backstep into Shadow Rend combo again to take out as many small fry as possible and then swap back to the scythe again to start taking out the enemies. Very similar to wave 1.
- For Wave 3, you’ll have 2 small enemies and the boss with 2 health bars. Ignore the 2 small enemies and instantly rush up to the boss and use the
plus
ability if you have it and start going to town on him with the scythe so you’re dealing more break damage. You’ll also want to unleash all you Arena Powers EXCEPT the Phantom Shield on him here. Once you finish his first health bar, he goes invincible to do an attack for about 10 seconds. Take this time to kill the small fry. Once he can be attacked again, run up to him and use Phantom Shield and start going to town on him with the scythe to try and break him as quick as possible.
Stealth and Detection
Location: Chapter 4 – Royal Capital of Frosthold, Frosthold – Hall of Wisdom 1F.
Challenges and Rewards
- Complete the stage within 8 minutes 20 seconds.
- 100 Voidrax Crystal Shards
- Complete the stage within 5 minutes.
- 150 Gold
- Complete the stage within 3 minutes.
- Phantom Shield (Arena Power)
Strategy
For this one your setup doesn’t matter as much, but having high attack will be extremely helpful just to deal with enemies faster to save time. It’s recommended to use the sword and the Aerial Slash or Backstep into Shadow Rend as both do a lot of damage. For this challenge, all the platforms and enemies will be invisible and every time you touch the ground it will reveal them, so you’ll need to jump around a lot. This one is mostly a parkour challenge with a couple of enemies on some platforms, so most of your mistakes will be from falling off. The biggest thing to watch out for is the balls on some platforms as getting close to them will cause them to explode, knocking you around which will waste some time. Once you’re near the end, you’ll have to go to 2 platforms with the giant red cubes and defeat the enemies there. After both are cleared, you have to run across a bridge with a bunch of invisible walls, so make sure you’re jumping every now and again to make sure your path is clear.
