How to do the Pebble Swan Restaurant case in Dragon Age 4
Meet Neve at the Thread Hideout
Once in Dock Town, follow the objective marker to the door to the Thread Hideout, located on the side alley bridge. Speak with Eric Tavor and Theda Sikonia here to learn about the kidnapping of Silk Thread leader Makar Damas. As everyone expected, Vinotari was the mastermind. We also learn that Damas is being held captive in the Silk Market, which is our next target. Before heading out, remember to get the Chronicle entry from the side room.
Neve is the required partner for this mission, so you can only choose another partner you like.
When you're ready, head outside and follow the objective marker toward the Silk Market. Here Vinotari blocked the way forward. To move forward, you'll need to deal with some Vinotari cultists. These enemies don't pose much of a threat at this point, remember to use charged attacks to break their shields. After taking care of the enemies, head to the Thread Market.
Shortly after arriving at the market, you'll discover that Vinotari is using blood magic to control members of the Thread. In order to break their control, you need to defeat the Vinotari mages in the area. There are also some treasure chests here, which we'll look at later.
Continue deeper into the market, eliminating Vinotari and destroying the red crystal to remove the red barrier and find the door to Makar Damas. You can not go in yet and explore the surrounding area to find some rewards.
The first treasure chest
The first treasure chest is located in the area next to the main street near the green marker. Pull the lever to enter the area, then use Nave's Frost Binding ability to open the door inside. Climb the ladder to find another lever that opens both doors at the same time. This is a little puzzle that you need to solve.
You will notice that when you pull the lever, one door closes and the other door opens. To reach the treasure chest, you need to open both doors at the same time. Open the first door first, then use Neveu's Frost Binding ability to seal the second door, then pull the lever to close both doors. Now, jump down to release the Frost Binding and interact with the lever to open both doors.
Before jumping in, turn around to look at the destroyed wall and use Neveu's Unbind ability to remove the blue barrier. Once completed, return to the Main Street area to collect the Dreamland Inspired Statue souvenir.
Jump forward to collect the Shadow Grasp Belt. Use the Flame Dagger to hit the nearby Gatlock Barrel, causing it to explode and destroy the wall next to it. Dropping into a new area, you can get enchanted swords and thread payment record souvenirs from treasure chests.
The second treasure chest
The second treasure chest is on the other side of the area - near the blue marker. To get there, first climb the nearby ladder, then use Neveu's Frost Binding ability through the hole in the wall. Once done, activate the lever and open the treasure chest, which will contain the Squad Warrior Buckler.
The third treasure chest
The last treasure chest is on the left, near Damas. Unlike the previous two, this treasure chest requires no puzzle solving.
How to Defeat Makar Damas
After entering the door, you face Damas, who is controlled by Arya. After a brief cutscene, you will need to defeat the possessed Damas. He is vulnerable to the element of frost, but resistant to the element of fire. Since you have Neveu on your team, using her Ice Breaking ability and Blizzard skill will deal a lot of damage to him.
Damas is extremely agile and can move around the battlefield quickly. Still, this fight is relatively easy and won't cause you much trouble, especially if you're good at exploiting his weaknesses. After defeating Damas, you will trigger another cutscene and be asked to make a choice:
Choice: Batali threatens life. Result: Neveu agrees.
Choice: We'll find a better way. Result: Neve objected.
No matter what choice you make, you will return to the lighthouse and speak to Neveu. After the conversation ends, you will receive:
