Treasure registration
By registering, you will be able to know which quest the item can be obtained from.
Steps
1. In most of the screens where materials are listed, such as side quests, blacksmiths, miscellaneous shops, etc., you can press the □ button to move the cursor to the material
2. If you want the missing material, click the △ button to register it as treasure. In the case of the image above, "Griffin's Feathers" is registered. You can also set a target number when registering
3.Press the □ button on the quest counter menu to check the registered treasures. You can check/delete unnecessary treasures here
4. Press "Quest Request" and press the □ button on this screen. A list of "registered treasures" will appear, so let's press "Griffin's Feather" as an example.
5. Then, a quest that has the possibility of obtaining "Griffin Feathers" will appear (depending on your progress). Basically, the higher the difficulty level, the higher the drop rate and number of items, but please consult the clear time and choose the one that suits your ability
6. If you look at the quest, you will see that there is one slot for the initial reward, one slot for the completion reward, and one slot for the stage reward (press R2 to switch tabs). Even on this screen, you can use □△ to view the material and register/unsubscribe. Since the drop is a probability, it is not guaranteed
7. If you look closely, you can also see that "Griffin Feathers" drop even if you complete the submission mission "Incapacitated once or less". This is also something to keep in mind when aiming for rare drops
In 8., what was the result of the actual battle? Although it did not drop as an achievement item, I got 1 as a stage reward and 3 as a submission, for a total of 4.
