Season 4 Helltide
Helltide in Season 4 is also the main quest. You can accumulate "Engagement Points" obtained by repeatedly fighting and exchange them for rewards.
Major changes
It also occurs in WT (World Tier) 1 and 2
Collecting charcoal and opening the treasure box is the same.
S4 exclusive elixir drops
Actual threat level
We recommend that you go to Tier 4. Monster density is completely different
Honor Points
Kill a certain number of enemies
Defeat the Elite
Open the treasure box
Receive rewards
Location: Iron Wolf Camp
NPC: Anvil Sude
Once you accumulate a certain number of honor points, you can receive rewards. It is a very powerful help at Tier 1 and 2, but it feels unsatisfactory at Tier 4 (depending on progress). Also, since Honor Rank is required as a progression goal for the S4 main quest, Helltide is essentially treated as a main quest.
English (famous) points can also be boosted with seasonal blessings. Let's choose depending on the situation. It's nice to be able to select glyph experience points as well.
General steps
Defeat enemies and collect charcoal
Open the treasure box with the collected charcoal
Keep in mind the Helltide goal (defeat 〇〇, etc.)
Receive rewards with honor points
Proceed with S4 main quest
Repeat new hell tide
Nightmare dungeons are also available at Tier 3 and 4
Hell Tide
Honor Points, Treasure Box, Living Steel, Whisper Gauge
Nightmare Dungeon
Glyph experience points/equipment/tier 46 (priority quest "Master Craftsman's Pit" complete conditions)
Legion
The reward is poor. It might not be worth it. There are things you should digest at least once for your seasonal journey
World boss
Equipment socket additional materials/weekly reward box
WT1/2 Helltide
Treasures that can be opened by collecting charcoal have been unified into "Mysterious Tortured Gifts." The exchange rate is 100 charcoal, and since I didn't see anything else, I don't think there will be a 250 treasure box.
Helltide of WT3/4
"Mysterious Treasure Box" and "Living Steel Treasure Box" that can be opened with 250 charcoal will appear. Materials that can be used to summon the end boss will drop
Exclusive Elixir
S4 exclusive elixir will now drop in Helltide. Also, a lot of other elixirs will drop, so considering the experience value effect, I think it's a good idea to drink them all the time.
Exclusive Elixir
The point is that the experience value is 6%
Some highly effective elixirs have 8% experience value, so be sure to use them sparingly while leveling
The essence of blasphemy
Rarely dropped from Hellborn, using it will increase Helltide's monster level by 10 and increase the drop rate of charcoal.
Threat level
When the threat level gauge is full, hordes of enemies will rush in. The gauge gradually decreases, and when it's all gone, it's "Hellborn"A powerful enemy will also appear. This Hellborn is very strong when it has just been raised to Tier 4 and does not have all the equipment, so you need to be careful. When you die, charcoal is halved.
Hellborn drops ``Haunted Hearts'', and if you offer 3 of them to an altar in Helltide, you can fight ``Blood Maiden''. The cursed heart is carried over, so there is no need to use it quickly, but the charcoal is only effective during that helltide
Forbidden Altar
There is a place in the field of Helltide where three altars are placed. When you get close enough, it will appear on the map.
When you offer the "heart" to the three altars, a horde of enemies will appear, and finally the "Blood Maiden" will appear. High tiers can be formidable enemies depending on their equipment. The Blood Maiden regularly summons her Hellborn allies.
There are quite a few other players near the altar, so it is effective to cooperate with everyone and offer your heart to hunt.
As a note,
If you don't have enough equipment, you'll die soon
If you die, your charcoal will be halved, so it's a good idea to digest it in the treasure box beforehand.
Lots of equipment dropped and luggage was packed
Many people return to the city to pack their things, so if you play consecutive games, you may be the only one there
Hell Tide Event Goal
The one with something like flames on the bottom right of the icon is the S4 Helltide target
Collected charcoal
Dropped with a certain probability when defeating an enemy. Used to open treasure boxes
Interfering with the cult's ritual
Defeat the evil cult who is trying to summon the Elite. Defeat it before summoning?
Defeat the pioneer
Sometimes they appear when the threat gauge increases, sometimes they are normally on the field
Sometimes it would appear when you look at objects and stick to them in a circle. There are two sticky type objects: ``Greedy Soul Formation'' and ``Hell's Pillar of Fire''
"Greedy soul formation"
"Hell's Pillar of Fire"
Defeat the demon swarmer
That place around there
Defeat the Fallen
The devil-like monster around there
It may also appear by examining medicinal herbs and treasure chests in the field
Defeat Hellborn
When the threat gauge is full, it will gradually decrease until it reaches 0, at which point Hellborn will appear. In addition to this, there are also cases where you can investigate objects and stick to them in a circle, or be summoned by the Prophet of the End.
Confronting the Doomsday Prophet
There is a person praying inside the magic circle. When you talk to it, Elites, Hellborn Treasure Goblins, etc. will appear randomly. Goblins are good at dropping, so let's face them aggressively
The Tortured Gift Opened
Can be opened with 100 or 250 charcoal
Destroy the devil's building
Defeat the devil
Demon-type monsters in general
Support the Iron Wolf Gang
There is a marker on the minimap, and the Iron Wolf Group is fighting. 1 count when you destroy surrounding enemies. It may be a series of consecutive battles, so it ends surprisingly quickly
Defeat the Blood Maiden
Appears when you offer 3 hearts to the altar. It won't appear any other way
S4 started with Rogue. When exchanging antiques, it would be a good idea to exchange the missing parts when you reach Tier 4, and then stock up on Helltide/ND. The ownership limit has also increased, making it easier to operate.
