The Sniper is a class dedicated to picking off key targets 2. If you intend on running a Sniper build in Space Marine 2, there are a few options available to you in weaponry. However, the class style typically stays the same, minus one or two options. So, here’s a closer look at how to build a sniper, featuring weapons and class perks you want to use.

Use your Camouflage Cloak to get better lineups on enemies if you’re using the Las Fusil.

Sniper builds for weapons

In terms of weapons, you either want to use the Las Fusil or the Bolt Sniper. It largely depends on personal flavour. Las Fusil is the best weapon for hitting multiple targets but requires more setup to use properly. The Bolt Sniper is more friendly to use for most players and easily abuses the ammo replenishment system. Note that collecting Amrory data will help you get Mastery points for weapon perks, which can help speed up your levelling system when you need multiple perks from an XP bracket tier.

Perks Bolt Sniper Las Fusil
1 Long Shot – 10% more damage if the enemy is more than 20 meters away. Increased Capacity – 20% more ammo reserve.
2 Survival Instinct – 25% more damage when below 30% HP. Adamant Restoration – just taking it because you have to.
3 Adamantine Grip – Recoil reduced by 25% Amplification – radius increase by 10%.
4 Fast Regeneration – Taking the perk because you have to. Head Hunter – 10% more headshot damage
5 Head Hunter – 10% more headshot damage Head Hunter – 10% more headshot damage
6 Head Hunter – 10% more headshot damage Amplification – radius increase by 10%.
7 Increased Capacity – 20% more ammo reserve. Great Might – 10% more damage to Terminus enemies.
8 Reloaded Restoration – After reloading, your Ammo Reservve is restored by 50% of the number of enemies hit. It cannot exceed ammo capacity. Brutal Rampage – 25% more damage when killing 3 enemies with one shot for 5 seconds.
9 Great Might – 10% more damage to Terminus enemies. Increased Capacity – 20% more ammo reserve.

In general, the Las Fusil playstyle is about charging up a shot into a swarm for huge damage modifiers. You then change focus to elites to get headshots on them for huge burst damage. A charge with this build takes around a 1.5-second cast time, so it means you can deal three shots max with your damage buff. If you manage to hit multiple members when aiming for heads, which is easily doable btw, that buff extends.  Sync this charge up with enter cloak camo class perk for some of the biggest damage multipliers you can get from any class and weapon.

Las Fusil builds cannot always benefit from the Brutal Rampage talent when you’re nea max build, and that’s fine. You should have enough practive with the playstyle without it leveling up anyway.

The Sniper Build is more spammy with its rounds, and you can get some great ammo mods for it. The late-game perk that restores ammo works with my weapon. So tag lots of enemies with your pistol and then reload your primary weapon to max benefit from this. This late-game build enables the most difficult of horde-based objectives trivial.

This concludes the basics of playing a Sniper Build in Space Marine 2. You should now have all the basic to know what talents are build-denting, what are situational, and what type of weapons you want to use.
