Thousand Card Game (1000)

The game is based on another game called Mariage, which is the French word for marriage. It refers to pairs consisting of two cards (Queen & King) of the same suit. Everything depends on the accuracy of a player's bidding and cleverness of his/her gameplay.

The goal is go get in the end more than 1000 points, first player to achieve overall (sum-up) of 1000 points wins the game. Every game round consists of several steps: shuffling & dealing cards, bidding, playing round cards, counting scores, summing up with previous results.

Thousand Card Game is free to play with the default agreements set. No nag screens, advertisements or other annoying things will be shown as you're playing. If you wish to unlock agreement customization, you need to buy full game version. This purchase also allows me to make the game even better and to implement new agreements.

Introduction:

Thousand Card Game, also known as 1000, is a popular card game enjoyed by players of all skill levels. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards and can accommodate 2-4 players. The objective of the game is to be the first player to reach or exceed 1000 points by capturing cards and forming melds.

Gameplay:

The game begins with each player being dealt 10 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile, and the top card is turned over to create the discard pile.

Players take turns drawing a card from either the draw pile or the discard pile. They can then meld cards, which involves combining cards of the same rank or suit to create sets or runs. Sets consist of three or four cards of the same rank, while runs consist of three or more cards in sequence of the same suit.

When a player melds cards, they earn points based on the type of meld:

* Set of three: 15 points

* Set of four: 20 points

* Run of three: 10 points

* Run of four: 15 points

* Run of five: 20 points

* Run of six: 25 points

* Run of seven: 30 points

Players can also capture cards from the discard pile by matching them to the end of a run or set on the table. Captured cards are added to the player's hand and can be used to form future melds.

Scoring:

Points are scored when players meld cards or capture cards from the discard pile. The first player to reach or exceed 1000 points wins the game. If multiple players reach 1000 points in the same turn, the player with the highest total score wins.

Strategy:

Thousand Card Game requires a combination of strategy and luck. Some tips for improving your gameplay include:

* Pay attention to the cards that have been played and try to anticipate what cards your opponents might have.

* Draw cards strategically to complete melds or capture cards from the discard pile.

* Use your discards wisely to prevent your opponents from capturing them.

* Meld cards as soon as possible to maximize your points.

* Be aggressive in capturing cards from the discard pile, but don't risk losing points by capturing too many cards that you can't use.
