Durak Elite

Durak Elite is the smartphone version of the famous card game that’s very popular in Russia. This time, your goal is to combine cards and see if you can be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your deck.

In Durak Elite, the last player to still have cards is the loser and is called the Durak. Originating in the nineteenth century, this game will challenge you to discard all your cards in as few turns as possible. Although you can play in pairs, each player uses his or her own Android device.

At the start of the game, each player receives six cards. After that, you’ll play cards face up to attack or block your opponent’s possible moves before it's your turn to defend. This way, you'll gradually discard cards and try to win the game.

Gameplay

Card Values

The cards are ranked from highest to lowest: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. Aces are the highest cards, while 6s are the lowest.

Gameplay Mechanics

* Attacking: The attacker plays a card from their hand face up on the table. The defenders must then play a card that matches the suit or rank of the attacker's card. If they cannot match the card, they must "take" it by playing a higher-ranked card of the same suit.

* Defending: The defenders can play multiple cards on the attacker's card to block it. However, they must play cards of the same suit or rank as the attacker's card.

* Taking: If the defenders cannot match or block the attacker's card, they must "take" it by playing a higher-ranked card of the same suit. The taken cards are placed in a separate pile.

* Trump: Trumps are special cards that can beat any other card. The trump suit is determined by the last card played on the table.

Scoring

The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round. The other players receive penalty points based on the cards they have left in their hands. The player with the lowest score after a predetermined number of rounds wins the game.

Variations

Durak Elite has several variations, including:

* Throw-in Durak: Players can play additional cards from their hand to help their partners defend against the attacker.

* Partnership Durak: Players team up in pairs and play against each other.

* Fool Durak: The player who is left with the lowest-ranked card at the end of the round is declared the "fool" and receives a penalty.
