Torchlight is an action role-playing game developed by Runic Games and released in 2009. Set in the fantasy world of Etheria, the game follows the adventures of a hero on a quest to defeat the evil Alchemist.

Gameplay

Torchlight features hack-and-slash gameplay with a heavy emphasis on loot and character progression. Players control one of three character classes: Destroyer, Alchemist, or Vanquisher, each with unique abilities and playstyles. As players explore procedurally generated dungeons and fight enemies, they collect gold, items, and experience. Experience points are used to level up characters, granting them new abilities and stat bonuses.

Players must traverse the land, uncover the Alchemist's secrets, and defeat his minions to restore balance.
