Tacape

Tacape is a card game with roguelite elements where you enter a forest full of enemies in search of your brother.

In this card game's campaign, you play Lorena, a young girl who discovers that her brother has disappeared and that the only place he can be is in the forest, where terrifying monsters live. You'll have to accompany her on her journey and fight alongside her to get her brother back. As you advance in Tacape, you'll be able to choose, each step of the way, between two options. One might be benign, like a bonfire, but most of the time, you'll have to deal with monsters. To do so, you'll have your deck of cards.

Lorena has a specific deck, and after each encounter, you'll have the opportunity to expand it with a random card. Each card represents an attack, defense, courage, or some other utility. Courage lets you attack more times, while cards such as the lasso prevent monsters from moving. Each card has its own cost and conditions, so be sure to use them well and optimize your moves.

Tacape also includes several roguelite-inspired elements. For example, Lorena's life doesn't recover after each battle; instead, you'll have to use the bonfires that appear along the way to rest and recover. The path is also randomly generated, so you never know what you'll find around the corner.
