War of Heroes is a print-and-play wargame designed by Christopher Weuve and published by Compass Games. The game is set in the fictional world of Aegis, a continent torn apart by war. Players take control of one of six factions and must battle for control of the continent.

The game is played on a hex map of Aegis. Each hex represents a different type of terrain, such as forests, mountains, or plains. Players move their units around the map and attack each other in order to gain control of territory.

Setup

To set up the game, each player chooses a faction and takes the corresponding player mat and unit cards. Players then place their units on the map in their starting positions.

Gameplay

The game is played in turns. On a player's turn, they can perform the following actions:

* Play event cards

* Draw new cards

Players continue to take turns until one player has conquered all of the enemy factions.

Winning the Game

The game is won by the player who conquers all of the enemy factions.
