Objective:

The objective of Tents and Trees puzzles is to arrange a set of tents and trees on a grid such that each tent is adjacent to exactly one tree.

Rules:

1. Each tent must be adjacent to exactly one tree.

2. Each tree must be adjacent to at least one tent.

3. Tents and trees can be placed horizontally or vertically, but not diagonally.

4. Tents and trees cannot be placed in the same cell.

Solving Strategies:

1. Count the Number of Trees and Tents:

Determine the total number of tents and trees in the puzzle. If the number of tents is equal to the number of trees, then a solution is possible.

2. Place Tents and Trees on the Edges:

Start by placing tents and trees on the edges of the grid. This will limit the possible positions for the remaining tents and trees.

Based on the rules, you can deduce the positions of some tents and trees. For example, if a cell is adjacent to two trees, it cannot contain a tent.
