Gameplay

Plants vs. Zombies™ is a tower defense game where players must defend their house from an invasion of zombies. Players place different types of plants on their lawn, each with unique abilities to attack or slow down the zombies. As the game progresses, the zombies become more powerful and numerous, requiring players to strategize and adapt their defenses.

Plant Types

There are over 40 different types of plants in Plants vs. Zombies™, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Some common plant types include:

* Sunflowers: Generate sun, which is used to purchase plants.

* Peashooters: Shoot peas at zombies, damaging them.

* Wall-nuts: Create a barrier to slow down zombies.

* Cherry bombs: Explode, damaging zombies in a small area.

* Potato mines: Lie dormant until a zombie steps on them, then explode.

Zombie Types

There are also over 20 different types of zombies in Plants vs. Zombies™, each with its own unique abilities. Some common zombie types include:

* Regular zombies: Basic zombies that walk slowly and attack plants.

* Conehead zombies: Wear cones on their heads, protecting them from projectiles.

* Buckethead zombies: Wear buckets on their heads, protecting them from peas.

* Pole vaulting zombies: Vault over plants to reach the player's house.

* Exploding zombies: Explode when they die, damaging nearby plants.

Levels and Difficulty

Plants vs. Zombies™ features 50 levels, each with its own unique layout and challenges. The difficulty increases as players progress through the levels, with more powerful zombies and fewer opportunities to place plants.
