Description

Experience enhanced productivity and flexibility with GlideX, a versatile app designed to seamlessly integrate your mobile devices with your PC. It provides an array of features that cater to professionals and multitaskers looking to optimize their workflow.

The Screen Mirror function allows you to project your phone's interface onto a larger PC screen, offering the comfort of navigating with a keyboard and mouse. This not only boosts efficiency but also delivers a broader and more satisfying visual experience, free from the limitations of a phone's compact display.

GlideX

GlideX is a free and open-source 3D graphics API and software library for the X Window System. It was developed by 3dfx Interactive as a proprietary API for their Voodoo Graphics line of 3D accelerator cards, but was later released as open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL).

GlideX provides a high-level interface for 3D graphics programming, allowing developers to create complex 3D scenes and effects without having to deal with the low-level details of hardware-specific graphics programming. GlideX supports a wide range of 3D graphics features, including texture mapping, lighting, fog, and alpha blending.

GlideX is a cross-platform API, and can be used on any system that supports the X Window System. It is also compatible with a wide range of 3D graphics hardware, including both NVIDIA and ATI graphics cards.

GlideX is a powerful and versatile 3D graphics API that is well-suited for developing high-quality 3D games and applications. It is free and open source, and is supported on a wide range of platforms and hardware.

History

GlideX was originally developed by 3dfx Interactive as a proprietary API for their Voodoo Graphics line of 3D accelerator cards. The first version of GlideX was released in 1996, and was quickly adopted by game developers as the de facto standard for 3D graphics programming on Windows.

In 2000, 3dfx Interactive was acquired by NVIDIA. NVIDIA continued to develop and support GlideX, but eventually discontinued the API in favor of their own proprietary API, OpenGL.

In 2003, the GlideX source code was released as open source under the LGPL. This allowed developers to continue to use and develop GlideX, even though it was no longer supported by NVIDIA.

Today, GlideX is still used in a number of legacy games and applications. It is also used as a teaching tool for 3D graphics programming.
