Reservoir Crabs

Reservoir Crabs takes all the difficulty out of running an animal experiment by using augmented reality fiddler crabs. With crabs that behave the “right” way each time and are immune to stress, students can focus on improving their understanding of experimental design and behavioural observations. Each crab has real measurements and behaviours which allow players to perform statistical analyses.

This game replaces animal behaviour practicals and is best used in a class where individuals work in groups. It can also be used to teach students concepts surrounding animal behaviour.

Reservoir Crabs is a competitive multiplayer game where players take on the role of crabs trying to collect as many clams as possible while avoiding being eaten by larger crabs. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the only remaining source of food is clams, and the crabs must compete for survival.

Players can choose from a variety of different crab species, each with its own unique abilities and strengths. Some crabs are faster than others, while others are stronger or have better defenses. Players must use their crab's abilities to their advantage to collect clams and avoid being eaten.

The game is played on a large map with a variety of different environments, including forests, swamps, and deserts. Players can use the environment to their advantage by hiding in bushes or behind rocks to avoid being seen by larger crabs.
