Семь+Я

Семь+Я (Seven+I) is a popular Russian card game for two to seven players. The game is played with a standard deck of 36 cards, and the goal is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.

Gameplay

The game is played in a series of rounds. In each round, one player is designated as the "dealer." The dealer shuffles the deck and deals seven cards to each player. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table.

The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by playing a card. The card must be either a seven or a card of the same suit as the card that was played before it. For example, if the first card played is a seven of hearts, the next card must be either a seven of any suit or a heart of any rank.

If a player cannot play a card, they must draw a card from the pile in the center of the table. If the card they draw can be played, they may play it immediately. Otherwise, they must keep the card and their turn ends.

The game continues until one player gets rid of all their cards. This player is the winner of the round.

Scoring

After each round, the players count the points of the cards that they still have in their hands. The points are as follows:

* Seven: 20 points

* Ace: 11 points

* King, Queen, Jack: 10 points

* Other cards: 5 points

The player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins.

Variations

There are many variations of Семь+Я. Some of the most popular variations include:

* Семь+Я с подкидыванием (Seven+I with throwing): In this variation, players can throw cards onto the pile in the center of the table even if it is not their turn.
