Ghost of Yotei contains 16 Hot Spring locations. Finding all Hot Springs is one of the requirements for the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.
Hot Springs increase your health and are one of the most useful collectibles to find. You simply sit in the hot spring for about a minute and can choose a topic to reflect on, but it doesn’t matter what you choose. Hot Springs will get marked when nearby and golden birds will guide you to them. One Hot Spring is a bit hidden in Teshio Ridge at Red Crane Inn. The map icon from Red Crane Inn overlaps the Hot Spring.
Nothing is missable, everything can still be done after the story in free-roam.

This one is a little bit hidden as it doesn’t have its own map icon. It’s at the Red Crane Spring. To the left of the inn enter the bathhouse where a woman stands at the entrance. Talk to the woman and pay 200 coins. Then you can interact with the bucket to take a bath.
