The Loss We Carry is a side tale in Ghost of Yotei. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Loss We Carry side quest.

- Quest Info: A man hired me to retrieve a charm sold to Taro the Scavenger, last seen west of Ohara Plains. He wants me to offer the charm at a friend’s grave.
Objectives:
- Buy Toku’s charm back from Taro
- Leave a charm at Mari’s grave
- Defeat Saito’s soliders
- Speak to the villager
- Confront Toku about Mari’s death
Starting Location: The Loss We Carry
Buy Toku’s charm back from Taro
After talking with Toku, you’ll need to buy Toku’s Charm of Blessing off Taro for 400 Mon. You can do this either by heading to the objective, or any other place you’d encounter Taro, like while setting up camp for example.
Leave a charm at Mari’s grave
Once you obtain Toku’s Charm of Blessing, you’ll need to head to the Monument Tree in the Tokachi Range region. Once there, you’ll see some enemies.
Defeat Saito’s soliders
Defeat the enemies in the area.
Speak to the villager
After the enemies are dead, talk with the villager to learn the reason behind Mari’s death.
Confront Toku about Mari’s death
Return to the Prospector’s Camp and talk to Toku.
This finishes The Loss We Carry in Ghost of Yotei.
