Objectives:
- Find the stables
- Defeat Saito’s Forces
- Follow the Stablemaster
- Follow the horse tracks
- Return to the Stablemaster
- Choose a horse
Starting Location: Old Trails
Approach the “Old Stables” in Yotei Grasslands, the tale automatically starts when entering this area.
Find the stables
Head to the first objective as soon as the side tale is given to you and talk to the Stablemaster nearby.
Defeat Saito’s Forces
Defeat the enemies that appear at the stables. After defeating them all, you can talk to the Stable Master again.
Follow the Stablemaster
Get on your horse and follow the Stablemaster until you’re forced off.
Follow the horse tracks
Follow the horse tracks in the mud to the right (not the left), then talk to Kengo.
Return to the Stablemaster
After climbing the hill and whistling, go back down to the Stablemaster.
Choose a horse
You can pick any of the 3 horses, it doesn’t matter which one you pick but it will be the horse you ride for the rest of the game so choose wisely.
This finishes Old Trails in Ghost of Yotei.
