The Neverending Quarry is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Neverending Quarry Side Quest.
- Starting Location: Dominion > Terminus District
- Quest Giver: Interacting with Red Chest (not marked on map)
- Unlock Requirement: Interact with the Red Chest in the south-east corner of Dominion’s Terminus District. Then you get ambushed by enemies which starts the quest. It’s not marked on the map.
- Reward: XP, Money

Starting Location: The Neverending Quarry
This is a hidden side mission, it’s neither marked on the map with a “!” quest icon, nor is it given by an NPC. You have to interact with a red weapons chest in the south-east corner of Dominion’s Terminus District. There’s an ECHO Log very close to it, so if you’ve unfogged the area you can mark the nearest ECHO Log and follow the navigation, then just go up the small stairs to see the red chest. After interacting with the chest you get a call from Horatio, he’s trying to ambush you, the chest is a trap and explodes. The side mission is triggered after Horatio is done talking.
Defeat cunning ambush
A small group of enemies will come out of the black gate behind the chest. Defeat this group and the mission will finish immediately after. A short 30 second quest.
