Borderlands 4 Whack-A-Thresher Side Mission Walkthrough

Whack-A-Thresher is a side mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Whack-A-Thresher Side Quest.

• Starting Location: The Fadefields > The Howl
• Quest Giver: Mort
• Unlock Requirement: Finished Side Mission Breeding Daisies
• Reward: Money, XP, Eridium
• Quest Description: The threat of violence is often more than enough to get your point across. But these are threshers, so there’s a 43% chance you get eaten alive instead.

Objectives:

1. Slam some threshers

Starting Location: Whack-A-Thresher

This will get marked on the map after finishing Side Mission Breeding Daisies. It spawns near where the previous side mission ended, in The Howl region.

Slam some threshers

Head to the mission marker and jump onto the fuel tank where the Thresher, named “Sara”, keeps popping out of the ground. You will want to double-jump and then perform a ground slam on her while she’s popping out of her hole. You do a ground slam by pressing: hold (PS5) / hold (Xbox) / Space, Space, hold CTRL (PC). You can glide midair to time your groundslams better.

Then perform groundslams on all blue-marked holes around the farm. Once you repeat this process 7 times you will have satisfied Mort and completed this very short side quest.

This finishes Whack-A-Thresher side mission in Borderlands 4.
