Another Day, Another Universe is the 16th main mission in Borderlands 4 (BL4). This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Another Day, Another Universe Main Quest.
- Starting Location: Elpis Orbital Shatterfield
- Quest Giver: Amara
- Unlock Requirement: having completed Main Quest 15: Rising Action
- Recommended Level: 25
- Reward: XP, Money, Epic Shotgun & Fang Glider Vehicle
- Quest Description: The ride up to Elpis could’ve been smoother, but here you are. Now all you have to do is traverse a warped moon to spring the universe’s most powerful Siren from her extra-dimensional prison. Eh, maybe it’ll be easier than it sounds.
Objectives:
- Take oxygen kit
- Find oxygen kits
- Give Amara oxygen kit & Give Zane oxygen kit
- Reach Elpis core
- Reach Elpis core, Clear out rippers & Order
- Reach Elpis core & Throw explosive into thruster
- Reach Elpis core & Activate engine
- Reach Elpis core
- Reach Elpis core & Clear enemies
- Reach Elpis core & Take elevator to surface
- Reach Elpis core & Find power source
- Reach Elpis core & Start reactor
- Reach Elpis core & Spin up turbines

- Escort Amara to core
- Enter Phase dimension

Starting Location: Another Day, Another Universe
Take oxygen kit
You just have to grab the oxy kit from Zane.
Find oxygen kits
Then head outside after and follow the quest marker to find the oxygen kits for Amara and Zane.
First Oxygen Kit:
The second oxygen kit is behind Amara and Zane on a small platform.
Second Oxygen Kit:
Give Amara oxygen kit & Give Zane oxygen kit
Now give the two kits to Amara and Zane. It does not matter which one you hand out first.
Reach Elpis core
Then head to the marked location nearby.
Reach Elpis core, Clear out rippers & Order
In the new area with a big thruster, kill all enemies.
Reach Elpis core & Throw explosive into thruster
After killing all enemies, pick up the explosive from a canister next to the thruster by pressing 
/ 
, it will be marked in green. Throw it into the big thruster. Repeat this process two more times.
Reach Elpis core & Activate engine
To activate the engine, interact with the terminal behind the thruster.

Then go through the now-open gate and jump over a few flying platforms to reach the other side.
You will reach a small cave.
Right after that, the platform you’re standing on will break. Jump over to the sloping platform, where at the end you have to jump and glide over to safety. You can also use your grappling hook midair.
Here, get on the metal platform and turn right to jump to another platform
In this area, you can ignore the enemies and get straight on the jump pad near the ledge.
Here you have to use your grappling hook to leave the area.
Continue with the path, and you will reach another dead end where you have to use your grappling hook again.
You will reach another area with enemies, either kill them or head to the left side of the area and jump over a few more platforms.
You will reach another jump pad, which you have to use.
You will face some more enemies that you can run by.
Reach Elpis core & Clear enemies
You will finally reach an area with an elevator. Here you have to kill all enemies.
Reach Elpis core & Take elevator to surface
After killing the enemies, try to use the elevator. But it will not work.
Reach Elpis core & Find power source
Leave the elevator and turn right and move forward to find the power source.
Reach Elpis core & Start reactor
Just interact with the terminal nearby.
Reach Elpis core & Spin up turbines
You have to spin up three turbines in total. There is one right in front of you, the other two are to the left and right of the first turbine. To spin them up, you have to use your grappling hook up to three times on one turbine.
Reach Elpis core & Restart reactor
Now just interact with the terminal near the first turbine again.
Reach Elpis core & Clear enemies
Some enemies will appear now, kill them all to proceed.
After that, you can finally use the elevator.
The elevator ride wont last long, as you have to use your grappling hook after a short elevator ride.
Now jump onto the wall and climb up.
Then climb up one more wall.
Now, on the back left side climb the ladder.
You will reach a control room, and the Ripper Queen appears on the window.
Reach Elpis core & Go to Zane and Amara
After the interaction with the Ripper Queen, go through the door to your left and follow the path to reach Zane and Amara in an open area.
Reach Elpis core & Clear out enemies
Here, kill all enemies.
Escort Amara to core
After killing the enemies, follow Amara.
Enter Phase dimension
Amara will open up a portal, enter it.
Find Lilith
Inside the new dimension, walk into the light to automatically jump to another area. There won’t be any enemies here.
Repeat this two more times to reach the red area. Here you will find Lilith, which triggers a cutscene.
Defeat Ripper Queen
After the cutscene, you will have to kill the Ripper Queen.
When the spider net is above you, you can’t damage her. Appart from that there is nothing to look out for.
Wake Lilith
After the fight, interact with Lilith.
This finishes Another Day, Another Universe in Borderlands 4.
