Borderlands 4 has 123 missions in total (25 main missions & 98 Side Missions). It is recommended you do Side Missions along the way to level up so that Main Missions become easier. After the story you can still clean up remaining side missions in free roam. Most of the missions are also replayable via the missions menu. Some main missions can be played in a different order.
