Gears of War Reloaded has 33 COG Tag Collectible Locations. Finding all COG Tag’s is needed for the following trophies and achievements:
- Time to Remember – Recovered 11 COG tags
- Honor-Bound – Recovered 22 COG tags
- For the Fallen – Recovered all 33 COG tags
- G-reader – Read one full comic
Act I: Ashes
Chapter: 14 Years after E-Day
Cog Tag #1: At the start of the game, after choosing a path (it does not matter which path you choose), you can head straight ahead towards the Gears logo and find the tag below.
Cog Tag #2: This tag is located in the room where a door is cut open by the locust. It’s on the other side of the room, under the stairway you came in, if you took the training route.
Cog Tag #3: Right after you pass the door that was cut open by the Locust, turn left, and head up the stairs, and you’ll find the tag on the left side.
Chapter: Trial by Fire
Cog Tag #4: At the beginning of the chapter, you enter a building, right after that, you reach a small open area where you see a Gears logo at the end. Kill the enemies here and pick up the tag opposite the Gears logo.
Cog Tag #5: Shortly after the previous Cog tag, you will enter a building, after crossing a bridge, where you will fight some enemies. Before leaving this building, look to the left of the exit to find the tag on the ground.
Chapter: Fish in a Barrel
Cog Tag #6: Soon after you killed the turret guy, you will reach a big fountain, the Cog tag is behind the fountain next to a little tree on the ground.
Chapter: Knock Knock
Cog Tag #7: Before the battle in front of the “House of Sovereigns” you will see a white van with a Gears logo. The Cog tag is to the side of it in the corner of the stairs.
Chapter: Hammer
Cog Tag #8: After you saved Cole at the beginning of the Chapter, you will enter a building. Head upstairs and you will reach a room. From here, you will enter a hallway. Turn left here, and you will find the cog tag at the end of the hallway on the ground.
Cog Tag #9: Shortly after you killed the second Seeder with the Hammer of Dawn, you will enter a building. You will already see the Gears logo above a door when entering the building. Pass that door and head downstairs, then turn right to find the tag on the ground next to the little staircase.
Chapter: China Shop
Cog Tag #10: Right at the beginning of the Chapter, turn around and go around the corner to find the Cog tag on the ground.
Cog Tag #11: You need to lure a berserker across some rooms. At the end of the third room, right before you go outside to an open area, you can find the cog tag at the end to the left of the exit. This will unlock 
Time to Remember.
Cog Tag #12: Right after the previous cog tag, head outside and turn left. You will see a Gears logo with the cog tag below it.
Act 2: Nightfall
Chapter: Grist
Cog Tag #13: Right at the beginning of the Chapter, head down the metal stairs, jump over the stone block to find the cog tag on the ground.
Cog Tag #14: After you exit the square-shaped catwalk room, where you killed three crawling enemies, head downstairs and go to the back of the alley. Below the stairs you were on, you will find the tag.
Cog Tag #15: Just before the stranded settlement, you need to head left to find the cog tag next to a tree on the ground. Make sure to get it before the cutscene starts.
Chapter: Lethal Dusk
Cog Tag #16: On the way to Checkpoint 2, the road curves off to the right. Before heading that way, look to the left and shoot a gas canister in a shed, the Cog tag is inside.
Cog Tag #17: You will reach a section where you guide Dom with the flashlight. The cog tag is at the very beginning of this section on the left side. After you guide Dom through the street, shine the flashlight at the cog tag. Then go back down and grab it. You can try to grab it right away, but you will most likely get killed by the Kryll without the flashlight shining at it.
Chapter: Dark Labyrinth
Cog Tag #18: You will find this right after you exit the house. Just look to the right after leaving the building, and it’s near the car on the ground.
Act 3: Belly of the Beast
Chapter: Downpour
Cog Tag #19: On your way to the generators, you will see a building to your right with a 3 on it. The Cog tag is at the end of the long platform behind the building.
Chapter: Evolution
Cog Tag #20: You will reach a room with a wooden floor. As soon as you enter, head right and go around the generator. Then move forward, and you will find the tag in the back right corner. If you fall down where the enemies are, you can just climb back up.
Cog Tag #21: When you reach the cart control room, don’t press the green button yet. Instead, go downstairs to find the tag in the corner of the stairs.
Chapter: Darkest Before Dawn
Cog Tag #22: After riding down the drill platforms, you will reach a little crossing. To the right, you will see the Gears logo at the end of the path. The cog tag is right below it. This will unlock Honor-Bound.
Cog Tag #23: Shortly after the precious tag, you will slide down a slope. After that, you will see a little building on the right side. The cog tag is in the corner next to the stairs.
Cog Tag #24: This is right before you fight the Corpser. As soon as you reach this area, turn right to find the cog tag in the corner.
Act 4: The Long Road Home
Chapter: Campus Grinder
Cog Tag #25: Kill the enemies in the area first, then head back to where you started. Move forward and you will see small staircases. Take the fourth staircase and move forward to find the tag in the corner.
Chapter: Bad to Worse
Cog Tag #26: Right at the beginning, you can spot the Gears logo on a wall to the right. The Cog tag is below that logo.
Chapter: Imaginary Place
Cog Tag #27: This is inside the Fenix Estate. After leaving the lab section, you will be ambushed by some enemies. Shoot the wooden box to reveal the cog tag. You can’t miss this location.
Act 5: Desperation
Chapter: Comedy of Errors
Cog Tag #28: When you exit one of the later gardens, you will see a partly opened gate. You can’t miss this part. Head through the gate to find the cog tag at the end of the path.
Chapter: Windows Shopping
Cog Tag #29: When you enter the staircase for the first time inside the parking lot, don’t go upstairs yet. Instead, head downstairs to find the Cog tag.
Chapter: Jurassic Proportions
Cog Tag #30: When you fight the Brumak, head to the other side of where you start. The Cog tag will be behind barriers in the middle of the backside.
Chapter: Train Wreck
Cog Tag #31: This is in the first train wagon you enter, right to the left on the ground.
Cog Tag #32: This is in the third train wagon. You can see a Gears logo to the left when you enter it, and the tag is in the right corner of the room. Just before you go up a ladder, don’t go up the ladder until you have that Cog tag.
Cog Tag #33: This is in the fifth train wagon. Once you release some cylinders for a second time, pass the area where the cylinders were. Don’t go to the next wagon yet. Instead, turn left, then enter the wagon with the Gears logo. Head to the end of the wagon to find the Cog tag. This will unlock For the Fallen.
Now to get G-reader, go to the main menu and select War Journal -> Cog Tags. You will see 5 different comics. Select one, and read the comic. You can skip to the last page by pressing 
/ 
to unlock the trophy. It does not matter which comic you choose.
