Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta All Camo & Face Paint Locations

There are 59 Camouflage Outfits & 25 Face Paints in Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta Snake Eater (2025 Remake). Obtaining every camouflage uniform and face paint unlocks A Snake Has Many Skins trophy/achievement.

This guide is updated for the 2025 Delta Remake of MGS3 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S & PC. The unlock requirements are the same as in the previous game versions.

All collectibles are missable in MGS3 Delta. There is no chapter select. However, you can work around this by keeping a manual save every 2-3 areas. There are 31 manual save slots and roughly 70 areas. If you missed something you can load the nearest save and collect it from there, it will count retroactively. This allows you to use manual saves like a chapter select. The camo / face paints carry over to the next playthrough in New Game+.

You can track your progress under Main Menu > Extras > Camouflage Collection.

It’s highly recommended to go for all collectibles on Very Easy difficulty. This gives you access to the EZ Gun with infinite ammo, which allows you to stun animals to capture them alive. You can combine this with the “no kills” playthrough. You can get all camouflage & face paint on the first playthrough on Very Easy if you also find all other collectibles.

IMPORTANT: To unlock the Infinity Face Paint, you need to finish the game with a Tsuchinoko alive in your food inventory. You can make a manual save, eat it for the Food Collection, reload save and keep it with you until the end of the game. For various camo/face paints you must also beat the game without killing anyone, without raising any alerts, and find all collectibles.

Dremuchij South

Face Paint (Mask) – Automatically obtained story face paint. You start with this.

Dolinovodno

Camo (Raindrop) – After crossing the bridge, take the path to the left and around to find this in the alcove under the bridge, where you found a weapon earlier.

Rassvet

Face Paint (Zombie) – Around the back of the building where you meet EVA, behind some barrels.

Camo (Scientist) – Automatically obtained story camo. Given to you by EVA.

Chyornyj Prud

Camo (GA-KO) – To the right of the north-east exit, in some shallow water.

Bolshaya Past South

Camo (Splitter) – After getting past the 2nd electric fencey, take the path on the right to come to a swampy area. Climb up on the ledge on the right side of this area to find the camo at the end of the path. Must lean against the wall to make it across the ledge.

Camo (Choco Chip) – After going through the 3rd fence, on the left side is a tree stump with the camo inside.

Bolshaya Past Base

Face Paint (Snow) – As soon as you enter the area, in the trenches on the west side, under a wooden board.

Camo (Water) – On the roof of the main building in the center of the area, in the top left corner. Can climb up the ladder in front of the building.

Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch

Camo (Animals) – As soon as you start this will be in front of you, it’s the reward for defeating Ocelot by depleting his stamina (use Mk22 weapon to deplete his stamina). Use the thermal goggles to see it more easily. You can also increase the brightness to the maximum in the graphics settings, or light the cigar for a little bit of light.

Chyornaya Peschera Cave

Camo (Snow) – At the start of this area, take the right path (instead of the corridor straight in front of you). There you find the M37 weapon, after picking it up, go under the crawlspace to find this at the end of the path.

Camo (Hornet Stripe) – Awarded for defeating The Pain by depleting his stamina. After the boss fight it’s on the platform where he was, take the path to the right of the exit and drop down to reach it.

Ponizovje Warehouse

Face Paint (Desert) – On the bottom left, behind a crate near the big red door.

Graniny Gorki Lab 1F

Face Paint (Oyama) – As soon as you enter, crawl through the left path to find this.

Graniny Gorki Lab 2F

Camo (Fly) – Upstairs on the second floor in the bathroom. It’s in the 3rd cubicle, you need to punch the door down. hit it with 3 melee combos to break it (press R2/RT).

Graniny Gorki South

Camo (Spider) – Awarded by defeating The Fear by depleting his stamina.

Tsuchinoko – Requirement for Infinity Face Paint: Place mousetraps around the entrance to Ponizovje Warehouse (just before entering the warehouse where you get black bars at the top and bottom of screen). Enter the warehouse and go back and forth to check if you have captured one in any of the traps. If you catch something else (snakes etc) crawl over your mousetraps to recollect them and place your traps again until you get one, it may take several tries. If you didn’t collect mousetraps earlier, you can find one inside Ponizovje Warehouse in the little storage room halfway down the stairs. You’ll need to eat it for food collection menu progress, save first, eat it, then reload your save to get it back as you must keep until you finish the game to unlock the Infinity Face Paint.

Now you need to backtrack all the way to Ponizovje South, just outside the cave where you fought The Pain.

Ponizovje South

Face Paint (Water) – A camo will appear at the entrance to the cave where you fought The Pain, only at this point in the story so grab it before you proceed.

Now proceed back to Ponizovje Warehouse and go through the red door requiring the keycard that Granin gave you to proceed with the story.

Sokrovenno South

Camo (Moss) – For this camo you must sneak up to “The End” boss from behind with / to silently sneak so he doesn’t hear you coming, when you get close to him (within 1-2 meters) aim your weapon at his back. He will then lie flat on the ground. Aim your gun at him with / > look away from him > aim at him again with / > look away again > aim at him a third time. He should then wiggle around on the floor and drop his Moss Camo. You only need to catch him once from behind, then just aim at him 3 times in a row until he drops his camo (no need to catch him 3 times). It’s important you use the silent sneak with / or else he will hear you coming from 10 meters away. Doesn’t matter if you’re crouched or standing while using the silent sneak. You will unlock  You Snooze, You Lose here for getting his Moss Camo. Now equip the Moss Camo, find a green mossy-looking patch of ground anywhere around here and go prone on it, you will unlock  A Good Man Is Hard To Find (100% camo rating).

Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel

Camo (Fire) – Awarded for defeating The Fury by depleting his stamina. It will be right next to you after the cutscene. Grab it now as going up the ladder ahead is another point of no return.

Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing

Camo (Officer) + Mask – Automatically obtained story camo from Raikov. You must go to the upper floor and non-lethally take out the officer with white hair (wears green uniform, he’s the only one with white hair). Then on the upper floor drag his unconscious body through the red locked doors across the little footbridge before the room with scientists. When his body is near the red lock door it will open. Drag him all the way to the lockers in the southwest corner of the upper floor, when out of sight you get a cutscene where you push him into a locker and steal his uniform. This is then in your inventory automatically.

The Sorrow

Camo (Spirit) – During “The Sorrow” boss, move all the way to the end of the river until you walk into a corpse in the water that instakills you. Once you ‘die’ and get the orange “Continue” screen hold D-Pad Left and use the Revival Pill. Then you get a cutscene and spawn in a forest. Continue to the next objective marker behind a waterfall to get a cutscene where you meet EVA. During this you get your equipment back. Here you will unlock the Spirit camo automatically as a reward, but only if you reached the end of the river during The Sorrow. Don’t die during “The Sorrow” boss before reaching the end of the river or you will miss out on the camo.

Tikhogornyj

Tsuchinoko (Requirement for Infinity Face Paint): After going back out to the waterfall, on the immediate left you can find the Tsuchinoko you caught earlier in the game slithering around. It looks like a fat short snake, on the mossy uphill path by the water. Make sure to capture it alive again here after you get your gear back from EVA. Use the Mk22 or EZ Gun to stun it and capture it alive. Must finish the game with it alive in your inventory to get Infinity Face Paint.

Face Paint (Kabuki) – In the pool of water by the waterfall. Dive down to see it.

Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab: East Wing

Camo (Maintenance) – Go back to the room where you dragged Raikov into the locker. As soon as entering the room, check the 2nd locker on the front left closest to the door.

Camo (Sneaking Suit) – In the same locker with the red stripe that you put Raikov in earlier, in the room on the 2nd floor.

Volgin Boss Fight

Camo (Cold War) – Awarded for defeating Volgin by depleting his stamina. CQC Slam him with R2/RT, then shoot him with non-lethal weapons. Make sure to pick it up immediately when depleting his stamina during the fight, BEFORE the cutscene starts. Keep a save from the fight in case you miss it.

Rokovoj Bereg

Camo (Snake) – Awarded for defeating The Boss by depleting her stamina. Make sure to pick this up immediately before the cutscene starts.

Post-Story Rewards

• Stealth Camo – Finish the story with 0 alerts in the results screen or shoot all 64 Kerotans in one playthrough.
• Green Face Paint – Reward for finishing the 1st playthrough.
• Brown Face Paint – Reward for finishing the 1st playthrough.
• Infinity Face Paint – Reward for beating the game with the Tsuchinoko in your food inventory (alive).
• Tuxedo – Reward for finishing the 1st playthrough.
