This guide shows where to find all Collectible Locations in Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta: Snake Eater. This is updated for the 2025 Remake of MGS3 on PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S. There are 64 Ga-Kos, 64 Kerotans, 48 Food, 59 Camouflage, 25 Face Paints, and various Weapons/Items. Everything is in the same place as in previous game versions, except Ga-Kos which are completely new to the Delta version.
The Delta version comes with new collectible trackers. In the pause menu it shows how many Ga-Kos and Kerotans you have found. The Ga-Kos are always in the same area as the Kerotans. They also get marked on the world map after collecting them. Food & Camouflage can be tracked under Main Menu > Extras > Food Collection / Camouflage Collection. Stats can be tracked during the playthrough under Pause Menu > Records & Titles.
Everything in MGS3 is missable because there’s no chapter select. However, the Delta version offers 31 manual save slots. When following this guide keep a manual save at the start of each collectible page. Then you can use this like a chapter select to quickly jump between areas. All collectible progress is shared across all of your saves and carries over between playthroughs. If you missed anything you can grab it from the nearest save. You can jump between saves and it will retroactively get added to the Collections. You can also grab missed collectibles on the next playthrough, in which case you only need to collect the ones you missed. For example, if you missed one Ga-Ko or Food you only need to collect that missed one and not all of them again.
It is highly recommended to play on Very Easy difficulty and combine collectibles with your no-kills playthrough. Very Easy difficulty gives you access to the EZ Gun which lets you instantly stun enemies and gives 80% camo index for stealth. You will also need to defeat all bosses non-lethally so they drop their camos as rewards.
At the start of the game you can pick between different “I like” options to instantly get access to some camos/face paints. What you pick here doesn’t matter. All of these are automatically unlocked after finishing the story for the 1st time.
This guide also includes all missable trophies & achievements. By following this you will get everything in a single playthrough, except Foxhound Rank which will require a second playthrough on Extreme difficulty. Animals/Food will be listed at the first possible opportunity, but can also found in various other locations.
Follow the guide closely as ALL collectible-related trophies are missable. There are frequent points of no return so it’s best to collect everything in each area before proceeding to the next one. Unlike the PS4/5 Master Collection version, there is no trophy tied to weapons in the Delta Remake, but they are good to have and are included.
Important: You need to EAT 1 of every food for it to count. Just finding one of each is not enough for the trophy. When eating one of each the % counter increases. Remember to finish the game without killing anyone, defeat bosses by draining their stamina.
