Sword of the Sea has 4 trick attack areas that are required to be found and beat for the following trophies / achievements:
- Trick Attack Seeker
– Find all trick attack areas. - Trick Attack Expert
– Beat the high score in all trick attack areas.
Trick attack areas are basically sectioned off skate park areas, where you activate them and have a limited time to beat a set score, after which you receive a large amount of Astra. The score required for each area is very reasonable, and can be beaten by stringing together a decent combo by either continually wall riding or jumping between jellyfish. Nothing is missable, everything can be collected through Chapter Select.
Trick Attack Area Locations
Veiled Sea
In the second area with the two chains, go to the right side where you activate the water point on top of the building that comes out of the sand. To the left of the central building in this area a door in the wall leading to the first trick attack area. Beat the high score of 8000 points.
Lost Grotto
In the area with the tall buildings where you activate the four switches, follow the path to the right to the large open building to find the time attack area. Beat the high score of 10,000 points.
Frozen Tundra
In the large area after activating the first golden bell, go to the far right side of the area past the right golden bell where you can find the time attack area. Beat the high score of 10,000 points.
Sacred River
After activating the water point in the giant boat and riding the chain toward the underside of the floating island, bounce across the two jellyfish leading to the right to a smaller island where there is a group of lanterns which will spawn paper lanterns, allowing you to water grind to the far wall. Through the doorway reachable with the paper lanterns you can find the time attack area. Beat the high score of 10,000 points.
