Wuchang Fallen Feathers All Armor Locations

This page contains all Armor Locations in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. There are 52 Armor Sets, of which 46 are base game armor and 6 are DLC armor from Pre-Order Bonus and Deluxe Edition. Some “Sets” only contain 1-2 pieces and aren’t full 4-piece sets. Armor can be equipped to the head, chest, arms, legs.

Armor is not needed for trophies/achievements and is therefore optional if you’re just going for Platinum / 1000 Gamerscore. The vast majority of armor is bought from the merchants “Tao Qing” and “Wu Gang” or dropped by bosses. The rest comes from NPC questlines and from some red-eyed madness enemies.

Different Armor Sets give different resistance values to elements and physical damage. Equipping armor with strong resistances to the elements used by bosses is advantageous. Some areas also feature environmental hazards, primarily Corruption, Frostbite, and Despair. When having armor with high resistance to these elements, the effect builds up more slowly which makes it easier to navigate such areas.

Everything is missable. The first region becomes unavailable after talking to the Storyteller in Region 3: Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar. If missing an NPC interaction for a required questlines you’ll miss out on the reward. All armor pieces carry over into New Game+. They can be collected again in NG+.

#26 – Delicate Set: Delicate Hairpin + Delicate Armor + Delicate Bracelet Delicate Undergarments

After defeating the boss “Tang Palace Maid”, take the exit at the top of the boss room to go back outside. Take the right path down the slope (go past the camp with enemies which are to the right). Then take the first left to reach the bottom of the area. Ther you find it as a glowing pickup on a corpse (contains all 4 armor pieces in one pickup).

Worship’s Rise – Lightzen Temple

#27 – Ming Set: Ming Helmet + Ming Armor + Ming Armguards + Ming Greaves

Dropped by the strong red-eyed enemy at the stairs that lead to Shu Sanctum shrine. He drops the full Ming armor set (all 4 pieces).

#28 – Militia Set: Militia Headscarf + Dirty Milita Clothes + Militia Vambraces + Militia Shin Wraps

Where you fought the above enemy that dropped the Ming Set, go over the invisible bridge (indicated by the yellow/green orb over the river). Then follow the path along the river until you reach the Bamboo Forest. Take the left path to enter the Bamboo Courtyard, there are enemies knocking on doors. Talk to all NPCs behind the doors, one of them gives the Courtyard Key. Now go further into the Bamboo Forest, go up the right path to a bigger village. Inside the courtyard of the first big house, use the Courtyard Key on the chained door to open it, go upstairs to find this yellow pickup. Alternatively, you can enter this building by walking on its roof until some of the rooftiles collapse and you can drop in through there.

Worship’s Rise – Shu Sanctum

#29 – Armor Piece: Zhenwu Hairpin

Talk to Huang Jian’e who stands between the two merchants, she gives the head armor piece.

Worship’s Rise – Bandit Cave

#30 – Pirate Set: Pirate Hairpin + Pirate Armor + Pirate Bracers + Pirate Boots

After defeating the boss Blightweaver – Great Centipede continue out the next area follow the path out of the area. Once you reach the burnt forest area before the Doomwillow Beach shrine you can find He Youzai standing on the left of the path. Giving him the Lost Package makes him give you the Pirate Set. The “Lost Package” is found at Worship’s Rise > Buddha Cliffs, after the boss room where you fought Tang Palace Maid it’ll be in the grass in the next outside area, directly in front of you after leaving the boss room (purple item).

Worship’s Rise – Palace Hill

#31 – Palace Maid Set: Palace Maid’s Hairpin + Palace Maid’s Satin Dress + Palace Maid’s Bracelet + Palace Maid’s Garment

Dropped by boss: Tang Palace Maid (2nd encounter), in the building just before climbing the ladder to Palace Hill shrine, which also contains a golden chest with Manna Vase Upgrade.

Cloudspire – Hillswatch

#32 – Bridal Set: Bridal Veil + Bride’s Corset + Bridal Shackles + Bridal Dress

Found behind the red riddle door by giving the CORRECT answer so that the door opens in front of you (no black smoke that teleports you away). From the Hillswatch shrine turn around and go over the bridge. The red glowing door will be to your left. Correct Answer: Challenge the threads of fate.

Cloudspire – Snowy Passage

#33 – Overseer Set: Overseer’s Helmet + Overseer’s Breastplate + Overseer’s Bracers + Overseer’s Leg Guards

Dropped by a Red-Eyed enemy. From Snowy Passage, go forward. Don’t enter the courtyard on the left through the gate, instead stick to the right and follow the path along the cliffs. At the first opportunity take the right path over the cliff, then enter a cave. Go through the cave, past a big tree enemy is a red-eyed enemy. Defeat him to receive this armor set. It has high Frostbite resistance which makes it ideal for the Cloudspire region.

Cloudspire – Cloudspire City

#34 – Headwear: Great Yonder Antler Cap

Given by NPC: Shen Jing’an. After the shrine go through the house, through the narrow path and climb up the next ladder. Go past the man and take the right path to enter a house on the right. There you find a boy and a girl. Talk to the girl and “agree to join the gang”. She gives head armor “Great Yonder Antler Cap”.

#35 – Headwear: Great Yonder Fox Cap

Given by NPC: Glut. Backtrack to Cloudspire City shrine, go through the house across from the shrine, then you enter the narrow path. Here on the right break through the destructible boxes and find a hidden cave (before climbing up ladder). Go through the cave to find a hidden area, in a tent at the end near where the shrine was, you will find Glut. Talk to him and pick “News about joining the Great Yonder Gang”. After talking to Glut can return to the girl and “Ask about the wedding attire”. Now talk to Glut again in the side area. Can choose between “Search for Shen Jing’an” and “Search for your master”. What you pick only impacts the Yonder Gang questline – but it doesn’t have any impact on endings or trophies.

• Recommended: Search for Shen Jing’an -> this is needed to experience the full Yonder Gang questline and have the kids survive
• Search for your master -> picking this will get Glut killed later (he will wind up dead after the Shaft Entrance shrine later in the 2nd region). In this scenario not all kids survive.

Either way he gives head armor Great Yonder Fox Cap. Then go up the path again to the girl, now Glut will be in the room with her (if you told him to search for Shen Jing’an). The girl gives Wedding Attire (Quest Item).

Cloudspire – Snowfall Palace

#36 – Snowfall Treasurer’s Set: Snowfall Treasurer’s Robes + Treasurer’s Ring + Treasurer’s Boots

If you skip fighting boss: General of the North – Ai Nengqi by lighting the 3 bonfires on the towers to skip directly to the next boss Ming General – Liu Cheng’en, then Treasurer Li appears as in enemy in front of the palace stairs. He will drop the Snowfall Treasurer’s Set, the Red Mercury Stone, and Snowfall Palace Ledger.

#37 – Headwear: Panda Hood

Sold by NPC: Panda. From the shrine go up the stairs to the main palace area. Go through the palace until you pull a lever to open a sliding wall, then you enter a room with an archer and a female enemy. This rooms contains an elevator. Make the elevator go up, then stand on the elevator button to make it go down while standing on it, to reach a secret treasure area below the elevator. There you find the panda, he sells the Panda Hood. Some players have reported he doesn’t sell it for them at this point, and for others he does sell it. If he doesn’t sell it, you can find the Panda again at different locations throughout the game. In the 3rd region you find him after Zhenwu Altar shrine on the path left of where the Storyteller sits before a cave, in the 4th region you find him in Annalum down the path in the left corner of the courtyard, and in the 5th region he will be in front of a Benediction Gate where the Storyteller is found.

#38 – Butler Shen’s Set: Butler Shen’s Headdress + Butler Shen’s Robes + Butler Shen’s Bracelet + Butler Shen’s Boots

If in Cloudspire – Snowfall Palace you go to the palace roof BEFORE triggering the boss fight against Mistress of the Night – Huang Yan, you can find the Huang Yan DLC on the palace rooftop. Give her the Bridal Attire and say “Tell of the butler’s betrayal”. Then later on you can return to the Yonder Children’s Gang hideout at Cloudspire – Cloudspire City (up the ladder and to the right in house). There you will find the dead butler and the dead kids, queen Huang Yan had them murdered because you told her of the betryal. Can loot the Butler’s set from his body there (yellow item next to him). Note that picking “Tell of the butler’s betrayal” will break the Yonder Gang’s questlines as they wind up dead in their hideout.

Cloudspire – Wedding Hall

#39 – Fang Yao’s Set: Fang Yao’s Hairband + Fang Yao’s Light Crown

Given by NPC: Fang Yao if you did all her questline interactions up to this point. After defeating Perfect Bride – Fang Ling, rest at the Wedding Hall shrine that appears in the boss arena, then Fang Yao will sit in front of the shrine. Talking to her rewards her two armor pieces. She won’t be there if you missed any of her interactions.

Mt. Zhenwu – Avian Marsh

#40 – Headwear: Leech Headwear

After defeating the optional boss Bo Sorcerer, you will run into an NPC called Buglio. To the right of Buglio are breakable items, with a path leading up to a red-eyed enemy who drops this.

Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Antechamber

#41 – South General’s Set: South General’s Helmet + South General’s Robes + South General’s Vambraces + South General’s Boots

Dropped by boss: South General – Liu Wenxiu.

Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar

#42 – Zhenwu Set: Zhenwu Robes + Zhenwu Bracers + Zhenwu Sandals

Given by NPC: Huang Jian’e. If you interacted with her at every opportunity and called her to the boss fight “Fierce Tiger / Sovereign – Zhang Xianzhong” using the bone whistle, she will be on the ground in front of the burnt house. After talking to her, rest at the shrine and she will have left a yellow item. This unlocks her full armor set as a reward for finishing her questline.

Mt. Zhenwu – Ferry Overlook

#43 – Headwear: Ceramic Jar

Reward from completing Child in the Jar questline. On the left dock at Ferry Overlook. Talk to him, then rest at shrine. After resting at shrine, return to where Child in the Jar was sitting, he left a golden item which is his jar as head armor. If he still sits there, try dying by stepping in the deep water and come back – if he’s still there then travel back later after advancing story. If you missed the Child in the Jar questline, you can alternatively find this item in the 4th region Worship’s Rise in Ruins > Reverent Temple, behind the shrine where the little kid was at the start of the game it will be on the floor.

Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Shu Sanctum

#44 – Champion’s Set: Champion’s Bamboo Hat + Champion’s Robes + Champion’s Bracers + Champion’s Boots

Dropped by Nian Suichang if you completed his questline. Follow the path up the cliff instead of into Shu Sanctum. At the top if you completed all prior interactions Nian Suichang will appear there. He will either spawn as a red enemy if you chose to expose him at Hillswatch, or will sit there non-hostile if you chose not to expose him. If he’s hostile, defeat him and he’ll drop it. If he’s sitting at the cliffs non-hostile, pick up the purple item behind him and talk to him, then rest at a shrine and come back to find his weapon and armor where he was sitting. If you failed his questline he won’t be here and will need another playthrough in New Game+ to do all his interactions.

Bo Capital – Capital Entrance

#45 – Consort’s Set: Consort’s Canopy Hat + Consort’s Garment + Consort’s Bracers + Consort’s Skirt

To the left of the shrine, pick up the yellow item after resting at the shrine.

#46 – Loyalty Set: Crown of Loyalty + Chainmail of Loyalty + Armguards of Loyalty + Leg Guards of Loyalty

Dropped by boss: Eternal Glory – Zhao Yun (White-Robed Elder). If you completed White-Robed Elder questline and helped him defeat Bo Sorcerer, you can return to him at the tomb across from Mt. Zhenwu > Avian Dwelling to fight him. He’s only available as a boss after reaching Bo Capital. If you didn’t do his questline he won’t be there.
