Set 15 of Teamfight Tactics, officially titled K.O. Coliseum, is going live on Wednesday, July 30 with patch 15.1.
For this set, your favorite League of Legends champions will face off in an anime showdown to find out who is the strongest of them all. In addition, a lot of TFT’s usual mechanics that you know are set to change, so there will be a larger learning curve than normal in this set.
Here’s when Teamfight Tactics Set 15 goes live in your time zone and what to expect in the new set.
What time does TFT set 15 release?
Teamfight Tactics set 15 will go live on Wednesday, July 30 on your local server. This does mean that the Oceania server will be receiving the patch first while the North America servers will have to wait a little longer, but if you truly cannot wait, you’re free to make an Oceania account.
Below, we’ve listed the expected release time for the NA, EUW, EUNE, and OCE servers, according to the League of Legends service status page:
* NA — 7 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America and 10 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
* EUW — 9 a.m. BST for the U.K. and 10 a.m. CEST for western Europe
* EUNE — 8 a.m. EEST for eastern Europe
* OCE — 9 a.m. AEST for the east coast of Australia
However, the maintenance period can vary from time to time, so the servers could be up before or later than the times listed above.
What to expect from TFT set 15
As always, a new TFT set means a new thematic, units, classes, and origins. For set 15, your favorite League of Legends champions will face off in the K.O. Coliseum for a good ol’ fashioned anime showdown. To match the theme, each unit is shaded in a comic book style that really makes the colors pop.
Set 15’s main mechanic is called Power Ups. You will gain a fruit at the beginning of the game that you can give to one champion. This fruit will provide your champion with a powerful ability that can change the tide of battle. As the game progresses, you’ll be able to power up another champion to have a total of two champions with effects.
Additionally, there are a lot of new changes to the usual TFT that you know. Two of the biggest changes deal with mana items and prismatic origins. Mana items will no longer provide your champions with mana, but rather mana regeneration. As for prismatic origins, you’ll need to complete a specific objective with the origin’s units in play rather than fielding seven or 10 units from the same origin.
