Wuchang Fallen Feathers Worship's Rise in Ruins - Reverent Temple Collectible Locations

Reverent Temple is the 8th shrine in Worship’s Rise in Ruins region of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

How to reach Ruined Reverent Temple: on story path, in the same place where it was at the start of the game. From Shu Sanctum turn around and go through the Bamboo Forest to reach it.

Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Reverent Temple

NPC: Fang Yao + Research Journal – Scrap 3 + Ring of Samsara – Cause (ENDING ITEM)

Behind the shrine, you can enter the previously unreachable spot the Boy was located. She sits there on the ground. Will only be here if you did all of her interactions chronologically throughout the story. She gives Research Journal – Scrap 3 + Ring of Samsara – Cause. DO NOT USE THE RING OF SAMSARA OUT OF YOUR INVENTORY, IT’S REQUIRED FOR AN ENDING!

Longevity Necklace (Quest Item)

Behind the shrine, you can enter the previously unreachable spot the Boy was located. This is on the ground, hidden under the breakable red jar.

Jade Pendant: Wishborn Pendant

Also on the ground beside the Longevity Necklace pickup.

Ceramic Jar (Headwear)

Also on the ground beside the Longevity Necklace (only appears if you missed the first interaction with Boy in the Jar and never encountered them anywhere else. If you got the Ceramic Jar in another location this playthrough you won’t find this here and will already be in your inventory).

NPC: Yu Xia

Sitting inside the entrance to the Reverent Temple. What dialogue you pick here doesn’t matter. The outcome will be the same, she will wind up dead at the start of the 5th region with any choice. Personally, I picked “Lovely Brocade Bag” on my run where I combined all 4 endings.

• If you have the Imperial Guard Token you can show it to her, which rewards a Radiant Red Feather. She will say your family name will shine again.
• Recommended: If you have the Lovely Brocade Bag you can show it to her, which rewards nothing and she can’t be spoken with further. She will cry and doesn’t say anything further.
• Refuse the Invitation awards nothing.

Spell: Crimson Edge Incantation

On the second floor in the corner by the next set of stairs leading up.

NPC: He Youzai + Ring of Samsara – Effect (ENDING ITEM)

On the third floor near the stairs, will only be here if you did all of his interactions chronologically throughout the story. Speak to He Youzai twice “You seem to have forgotten something” > “Not really” > show “Research Journal – Scrap 3” > “What’s wrong?” to receive Ring of Samsara – Effect. DO NOT USE THE RING OF SAMSARA OUT OF YOUR INVENTORY, IT’S REQUIRED FOR AN ENDING!

NPC: Fang Yao

Backtrack to the shrine and fast travel to Annalum, her character icon should appear in the fast travel menu there. She will be behind the door of the temple in the middle at the end of the courtyard (across from the shrine where you enter the courtyard). Can approach the door and “talk” but she refuses to go. This is fine and will be the last interaction with her.

–> SAVE BACKUP #2 (PS5 Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Saved Data (PS5) > Upload or Delete from Console Storage > Upload to Cloud Storage > Overwrite -> in previous menu click Sync Saved Data = DISABLED so it doesn’t automatically overwrite your cloud save)

ENDING STEP: Jarful of Medicine + NPC: Xuanyangzi

Exit Reverent Temple from the top floor and follow the path uphill. You will find him sitting in front of the shrine. He has two choices “Remain silent” or “Hand over the Jade Feather Chisel“. The choice you pick here will lock you into different endings! This is why you have to back up your save before. We will do the “Jarful of Medicine” (Bad Ending) first since it’s the shorter ending. Don’t overwrite your backup save under any circumstance. Giving him the chisel locks you into the bad ending, and not giving him the chisel is a prerequisite for the other 2 endings.

Pick this:

• “Hand over the Jade Feather Chisel” (this is the Jade Ancient Chisel, it was dropped by the boss “Perfect Bride – Fang Ling” at the end of the 2nd region Cloudspire. Dialogue only available if you defeated her)

Shrine: Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Burning Cave

On the main path beside Xuanyangzi.

Keep following the guide pages here for ending instructions. You’ll have to finish the next boss (The Reborn) to reach the 5th region. Then you can head straight for the ending.
