Buddha Cliffs is the 2nd shrine in Worship’s Rise region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Buddha Cliffs: on story path, after climbing the scaffolding at the mountain.
Worship’s Rise – Buddha Cliffs
Spell: Vorpal Blade
To the left of Buddha Cliffs shrine, activate the ladder and slide down. Then turn right and enter the cave. You will walk past a glowing corpse, it will automatically give you this spell. It’s unmissable, on the mandatory story path.
Boss: Tang Palace Maid (Boss Guide)
On the main story path, can’t miss it.
Reward: Benediction (Bu – Skyborn Ward)
Forgotten Remembrance (Manna Vase Charge Upgrade)
In the room where you fought Tang Palace Maid, take the exit at the bottom of the room that leads to the river. You will find a big golden chest at the river, open it.
Lost Package (Quest Item – He Youzai Questline)
Now go back through the room where you fought Tang Palace Maid and take the exit at the top. Then directly straight in front of you in the grass is a purple item pickup.
Weapon: Red-Tasseled Spear (Spears)
After the previous item, turn around, go down the slope and enter the little enemy camp on the right. You will encounter two new enemy types here for the first time, they move faster and dodge. Defeat them, then loot the corpse in the back of the camp.
Armor Set – Head Armor: Delicate Hairpin + Chest Armor: Delicate Armor + Bracers: Delicate Bracelet + Leg Armor: Delicate Undergarments
From the last location, take the right path, go past the enemy camp and go down the path, take the first left, then you find it as a glowing pickup on a corpse (contains all 4 armor pieces in one pickup).
Jade Pendant: Entwined Legend Pendant (+1 in NG+)
Keep following the path down until you reach a village. Before entering the village, take the opposite path on the right. At the very end of this path you’ll find a bunch of tripwire traps (don’t walk into them, they explode), and two enemies. Pick up the glowing item behind the enemies where the path ends.
Jade Pendant: Monkey Pendant (+1 in NG+)
Backtrack on the path you came from, and this time take the left path that leads to the village (called “Lightzen Temple”). After entering the village, this will be in the house on the left, yellow item pickup. Be careful, two enemies will drop down from the ceiling.
Weapon: Darkfrost Edge (One-Handed Swords)
In the same village, on the right side (yellow pickup). On the table behind some oil jars where enemies sit at a campfire.
Shrine: Lightzen Temple
In the “Lightzen Temple” village on the main story path. Pretty much unmissable.
