Cloudspire Outskirts is the 3rd shrine in Cloudspire region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Cloudspire Outskirts: on story path, from Snowy Passage stick to the left to open the wooden gate to a big snowy courtyard area. Go up the left path through the snowy courtyard to reach a larger village. Shrine is there, next to a red glowing stone (corruption pillar) which spawns exploding enemies.
Cloudspire – Cloudspire Outskirts
NPC: White Robed Elder
From Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, turn around and enter the tall building on the right. Behind this building (outside) climb the ladders to the second level where the White Robed Elder is standing.
Weapon: Gunpowder Spear (Spear)
From Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, turn around and enter the tall building on the right. Behind this building (outside) climb the ladders, on top of the roof in a small chest.
First Signal Fire
On the tower roof, interact with the spot by the candle to light the pile of wood on fire.
Forgotten Remains (Manna Vase Upgrade)
Go around the back of the building (above) and climb the ladder in the house left of the group of enemies to reach another area with a corruption pillar. Continue following the path back to the next tower and climb the ladders to the top. There is a chest with this along with a red-eyed enemy.
Second Signal Fire
Interact with the spot by the candle to light the pile of wood on fire.
Inner Demon (Bo Blood)
From the tall building take the left path. Go straight until you see a house on fire, there a demon will spawn which drops this.
Spell: Darkfrost Flames
Dropped by the bird enemy at the end of the path, behind where the demon spawned that dropped Bo Blood. Where enemies are knocking on doors (to the right of the burning building).
Weapon: Twin Bandits (Dual Blades)
Go back to the tall tower where the corruption pillar is, take the right path, then go right again to open a big gate. Keep to the right and there is a red-eyed enemy behind some boxes, with this weapon in a small chest behind him.
Red Mercury Essence (Skill Point)
Can go up the path opposite the previous weapon, perform the Water Dance emote in front of the blue glowing vase at the cliffs to get a Red Mercury Essence.
Third Signal Fire
Climb the nearby tower and interact with the spot by the candle to light the pile of wood on fire.
If you activated all 3 signal fires, it opens the drawbridge at the third corruption pillar to Boss: Ming General – Liu Cheng’en. DON’T go over the long wooden drawbridge yet! It would break Nian Suichang’s questline (would miss weapon from his questline). We must clean up the area first and do Nian Suichang’s questline at the Rebel Camp.
Bamboozling #7
In the center of the area near the corruption pillar you can find a Bamboozling.
Benediction Gate (Sheng – Lethal Might)
Where another corruption pillar is, go down the path where you can open the shortcut gate back to the shrine. The door is directly right of the shortcut gate. Gives Sheng – Lethal Might.
Jade Pendant: Child’s Hope Pendant
Continue down the path past the Benediction Gate, there’s a gold pickup on the ground before the open area with the giant tree enemy.
Shrine: Mort Grotto (+ Red-Eyed Enemy for Skill Point)
To the right of the Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, go down the path until you reach a red-eyed enemy. Defeat him, then enter the fragile-looking wooden bridge with a blue item on it. Picking up the item will break the bridge and you fall down onto the shrine. You won’t take any fall damage here. If you already took the optional path through the caves you may have unlocked the shrine already.
