Snowfall Palace is the 8th shrine in Cloudspire region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

Cloudspire – Snowfall Palace
Bamboozling #9
From the shrine look at the big staircase, to the left of it enter the dead-end to find this.
Jade Pendant: Dragonling Pendant
Go up the stairs to the palace, then into the large room on the left where a flute playing enemy is located. This is in a small chest in front of the enemy.
NPC: Plain Warrioress
Keep following the path through the palace until you reach a room with an archer, then step on the pressure plate on the floor to use the elevator. She is at the top looking at a statue. Gives a Plumed Branch.
Bloodied Letter (Quest Item)
To the left of the Plain Warrioress, purple item.
NPC: Huang Yan
In the room on the opposite side of the elevator from the Plain Warrioress. If you went back to Shen Yanping to show him the wedding attire, you can now select the dialogue “Hand over the wedding attire”. This is highly missable, if you proceed to her boss fight she disappears from the rooftop. You can choose between two options:
- Recommended: “Feign ignorance” -> This is needed for the Yonder Children Gang to survive! Pick this to experience their full questline with the best outcome.
- “Tell of the butler’s betrayal” -> she will have her butler and the Yonder Children killed. They will be dead at their hideout after this (after Cloudspire City shrine)
Spell: Waspomancy
In the same room as Huang Yan, on the right. Approach the white-glowing table to autocollect it.
Weapon: Boreal Abyss (One-Handed Sword) + Inner Demon (Bo Blood) + Shadow Stone Needle – Feathering
There’s a secret area below the elevator that led to the NPCs on the roof. Go back to the room with the elevator (where the archer and lady enemy were). Make the elevator go up. Then make the elevator go down by standing on the pressure plate in the middle of the elevator. This will transport you into a secret treasure room below. In the corner you find a little chest that contains this secret weapon. A demon will spawn in the same place, which gives a Bo Blood and Needle.
Red Jade Wine (Unique Consumable)
In the same room as the Bo Blood and secret weapon, below the elevator. Check on the altar to read a white note, it unlocks the item.
NPC: Panda (Merchant)
In the same secret room in the corner. Can buy items from him in exchange for Bamboozlings.

Boss: Mistress of the Night – Huang Yan (Boss Guide)
From the shrine, take the right path through the door (right of the stairs leading to the palace). Then go down the elevator and open the big gate.
Rewards: Research Journal – Scrap 1 (Quest Item), Shell Cup (Tao Qing Item), Spell: Echo of Huang Yan, 
Mistress of the Night – Huang Yan
