Battlefield Pass is the 1st shrine in Mt. Zhenwu region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Battlefield Pass: After defeating Fang Ling in the Wedding Hall, talk to the Storyteller and he will teleport you to a cave entrance. Go through the cave to reach the shrine. Alternatively, you could go here early from Hillswatch Shrine, before entering the village you can break the boxes at the end of the path to find the cave entrance, thus reaching region 3 before playing through region 2 (but doing them out of order will break some NPC questlines and should be avoided).
Mt. Zhenwu – Battlefield Pass
Spell: Lotus Soulflame
From the shrine turn right and take the left path, then go up the stairs on the right to find it at the top, on a white-glowing corpse.
Bloodied Steamed Bunny Bun (Consumable Quest Item)
Take the path between the houses where the magic casting enemy is standing on the roof. Around the right corner you can find this on the ground by an enemy.
Lost Remains (Manna Vase Upgrade)
From the shrine turn right and take the left path until you go through a blood-filled cave that causes Despair buildup and a summoner enemy casting spells on the side. In this cave, take the right exit where you see a wooden fence / balcony platform. On there you find the golden chest.
Medicine Case (Key Item)
Now take the other exit of the blood-filled cave. Go past another summoner enemy, then on the right of the path will be a white-glowing item you can interact with.
NPC: He Youzai
Just before the ladder down to the Refugee Camp, he’s on the left at a campfire. Can ask him “What’s wrong?”. He points you to Zhenwu Temple.
NPC: Fang Yao
She will sit next to He Youzai at the same campfire, but only if you did her questline (3 interactions with her) in Cloudspire region.
NPC: White-Robed Elder [IMPORTANT ENDING & SECRET BOSS FIGHT DECISION = MUST “AGREE” TO HELP HIM]
At the start of Refugee Camp in front of bridge and where a ladder is leading down. Can choose to agree or refuse his quest. It’s important you choose AGREE. Then he can be called with the Bone Whistle during the Bo Sorcerer boss fight to assist you, which makes it significantly easier. This is also a prerequisite for a secret boss fight later in the game and the Dream’s Sweet Deceit Ending. If you refuse to help him it will break his questline.
Shrine: Refugee Camp
Climb down the long ladder and you’ll reach the refugee camp. The shrine is over the bridge and uphill along the path deeper in the camp where lots of tents are.
