Wuchang Fallen Feathers Altar Gate Collectible Locations

Altar Gate is the 7th shrine in Mt. Zhenwu region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Altar Gate: on story path, shortly after Pavilion of Knowledge, just before the gate to main boss “Fierce Tiger”.

Mt. Zhenwu – Altar Gate

Sacred Token (Quest Item)

On the steps leading to the door immediately after the shrine. Can be given to Magalhaes at the Refugee camp. Gives an Arinca Ointment.

NPC: Buglio

Lying on the ground at the top of the steps before the door, talk to him.

NPC: Xuanyangzi

Return to the Reverent Temple to give him Zhenwu Temple Scriptures. Gives either Red Blood (Unique Item) or 3x Special Pill.

NPC: Magalhaes

Fast travel back to Refugee Camp and give the Sacred Token to Magalhaes.

Boss: Fierce Tiger / Sovereign – Zhang Xianzhong (Boss Guide)

Through the gate at the top of the steps. Call Huang Jian’e and Nian Suichang with the bone whistle to help you, if you interacted with them at every opportunity.

Rewards: Aurum Ancient Chisel (Manna Vase Upgrade Item), Tortoise Ingot (Tao Qing Item), Spell: Echo of Zhang Xianzhong, Fierce Tiger – Zhang Xianzhong

Shrine: Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar

Appears in the boss area after it is defeated.
