Ferry Overlook is the 9th shrine in Mt. Zhenwu region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Ferry Overlook: after Zhenwu Altar, don’t talk to the Storyteller who sits at a cave entrance (Point of No Return, teleports you to 4th region). Instead, go through the cave behind the Storyteller to reach this shrine.
Mt. Zhenwu – Ferry Overlook
NPC: Xuanyangzi
After reaching Ferry Overlook, you can fast travel back to Reverent Temple to talk to him upstairs, gives a Blood of Changhong.
NPC: Sun Kewang
On the left path of the dock, by a sign.
NPC: Li Dingo
On the same part of the dock past Sun Kewang.
NPC: Child in the Jar
At the end of the left dock. He gives 1x Bamboo Shoot. You can’t give him any new items, which is normal.
Jade Pendant: Tiger Pendant
At the far end of the left dock.
Weapon: Serpent Fang (Longsword)
After talking to the above characters, rest at the shrine, then go back to where Li Dingo was standing, he left behind a golden item which is this weapon.
Armor Piece: Ceramic Jar (Child in the Jar questline reward)
After resting at shrine, return to where Child in the Jar was sitting, he left a golden item which is his jar as head armor. If he still sits there, try dying by stepping in the deep water and come back – if he’s still there then travel back later after advancing story.
NPC: Boatman
On the right path of the dock, before the boat. Exhaust his dialogue.
Now interact with the boat to go to the next area.

On the left before entering the mansion grounds.
