Annalum is the 1st shrine in Worship’s Rise in Ruins region. This guide series covers all trophy/achievement relevant items, collectibles, NPC questlines, and bosses to get Platinum & 1000 Gamerscore in one playthrough. There are other non-unique items, all of which can be bought from merchants later in the game (consumables, feathers for weapon upgrades, armor dropped by enemies), and benedictions which aren’t relevant for trophies. Everything becomes missable as the story progresses, especially NPC interactions must be done at the earliest opportunity. This guide is intended for use during the story, if doing anything out of order it can fail questlines and their associated rewards.

How to reach Ruined Annalum: on story path, after finishing the 3rd region talk to the Storyteller to be teleported to the ruined version of Worship’s Rise. POINT OF NO RETURN: talking to the Storyteller will make the 1st region (regular Worship’s Rise) unavailable and makes all Riddle Gates disappear.
Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Annalum
NPC: Fang Yao
Standing outside the building where you spawn, to your left. Next to He Youzai.
NPC: He Youzai
Standing outside the building where you spawn, to your left. Next to Fang Yao (dash through the box behind Fang Yao). Can tell him “It’s okay…”
NPC: Tao Qing
Stands on the right side immediately after exiting the house where you spawned.
NPC: Wu Gang
Sits near the center of the area where you spawned, on the wooden path at the pond.
NPC: Panda
From the building where you spawned go left to the corner of the area and down the path to see him sitting in the pagoda. Sells new item Benediction: Wei – Nine Disciplinary Force.
NPC: Storyteller [WARNING: DON’T INTERACT WITH HIM YET]
In order to get all 4 endings in 1 playthrough you will want to IGNORE the Storyteller for now. DON’T TALK TO HIM! We will return to him later which will be explained in the guide in bold red text when the time comes. Ignoring him is important so that we can make a strategic save backup before the “Successor of the Bo” ending. The reason is that if you “Agree to help” you lock yourself out of that ending, and if you “Refuse to help” you lock yourself into that ending. To get everything in one playthrough we want to delay this decision as long as possible, we’ll have to play both paths by reloading a strategic save game backup. We’ll come back here just before the BO MAGUS boss. Don’t worry, keep following the guide and it will be explained when we get there. Everyone else you can and should interact with, just not the Storyteller.

Standing to the right of the shrine. Gives an Arnica Ointment.
Shrine: Worship’s Rise in Ruins – Annalum
Right beside Magalhaes, in the same location as in the first version of this area.
Boss: Nightmare Demon (Boss Guide)
Follow the main path, then go up the steps to where the boss was found earlier in the story instead of down the slope toward the Shu Sanctum.
Rewards: Bo Blood, Everlight Stone Needle – Continuity (this boss doesn’t give a trophy)

On the main floor of Shu Sanctum in the same location as before.
