- Quest Description: There is a secret hidden somewhere close to the Angel Courtyard.
Castel Sant’Angelo
Next to the Courtyard of the Angel are Sale di Clemente and Sala di Apollo, both of which have Mystery Notes in plain view. Find any of the notes to begin the mystery.
Mystery Note #1: Red Bulls Card (15 AP)
Next to the Courtyard of the Angel, go into Sale di Clemente and look on the desk to find this note.
Mystery Note #2: Angel Courtyard Map (15 AP)
Next to the Courtyard of the Angel, go into Sale di Clemente and look on the desk to find this note.
Mystery Note #3: Russo’s Note (15 AP)
Next to the Courtyard of the Angel, go into Sala di Apollo and look on the desk to find this note.
Find the Secret in Castel Sant’Angelo
Read the three notes and you’ll learn that Leonardo da Vinci constructed a secret passage somewhere near the fireplace. The map shows that the door is in Sale di Clemente in the north wall, and examining it shows you can move the paintings on either side of what is clearly a door.
Rotate the paintings 180 degrees until the red bulls are on top and facing each other, and the door will open. Inside you’ll see a staircase up and a small table with the fourth note for this mystery.
Mystery Note #4: Cesare Borgia’s Letter (15 AP)
Picking up the note finishes The Bulls of Blood side quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
