Death Stranding 2 story took me 50 hours to beat on Casual (Normal) difficulty while connecting all optional facilities and watching all cutscenes.
The 50 hours is for a mainly story-focused playthrough on Casual (Medium) difficulty and connecting the optional facilities along the way. It includes watching the cutscenes. After this there was 20 hours of side content remaining to reach maximum connection level with all facilities. On the easiest difficulty (Story difficulty) if skipping cutscenes and ignoring all side content it can be done in 40 hours or less.
Death Stranding 2 Story Length Estimates:
- 40 Hours on Easy Difficulty if ignoring side content.
- 50 Hours on Casual Difficulty if doing moderate amount of side content (applicable to most players).
