The Duchess is an unlockable character class in Elden Ring Nightreign. Here’s how you unlock the Duchess:
Step 1: Get Old Pocketwatch – The “Old Pocketwatch” is a random match reward. It will randomly drop from the first Expedition and will appear in the rewards screen. You don’t necessarily have to succeed the Expedition, it can also sometimes drop if you fail the Expedition.
Step 2: Give Old Pocketwatch to Hooded Girl – In the hub area “Roundtable Hold” talk to the hooded girl and give her the Old Pocketwatch. She will lift her hood and reveal she was the Duchess all along!
Duchess Unlocked: Now the Duchess can be selected as a playable character. She’s a fast-paced melee fighter who specializes in dagger attacks and dodges. Her ultimate ability turns the player invisible for a short period, which is very good for reviving fallen teammates.
