The Twisted Tree is a group of 7 enemy targets in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. They appear in the objectives menu during Act 2, Main Quest: Inside Help. Defeating them is mandatory to advance the story at this point, so technically they are a main quest of their own. Here you find the locations of all 7 Twisted Tree Members.
Twisted Tree Member 1: Takahashi Goro
You find Takahashi Goro on the north end of Kyoto, just west of the northernmost fast travel point in Kyoto.
Twisted Tree Member 2: Takahashi Jiro
Takahashi Jiro stands near the Southern Kyoto Kakurega.
Twisted Tree Member 3: Takahashi Shiro
Takahashi Shiro stands out in the open just north of the Noji Palace fast travel point.
Twisted Tree Member 4: Takahashi Taro
Takahashi Taro trains in the Asukai Clan Domain on the west end of Kyoto.
Twisted Tree Member 5: Takahachi Saburo
Takahachi Saburo stands guard just east of the Asukai Clan Domain.
Twisted Tree Member 6: Takahachi Ichi-Hime
Takahachi Ichi-Hime is located outside of Kyoto in the Umenomiya Taisha Shrine a bit west-by-southwest of Nijo Palace.
Twisted Tree Member 7: Takahashi Inoshichi
Takahashi Inoshichi is located just west of the Honnoji Temple in Kyoto.
