Ambush Interrupted is an optional quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of Ambush Interrupted mission.

The Ronin (Meet Ibuki) - Quest Description: A secret merchant syndicate seeks to take over the business interest of the Imai clan throughout Settsu.
Talk to Ibuki
This quest starts by going to the “!” marker in Iga > Hijiyama. Talk to Ibuki to start the quest, then it can be tracked from the objectives board.
This quest must be completed with Yasuke.
Speak with Ibuki, and he presents a dialogue option:
- [I was following orders.]
- [I have changed.]
Apart from a line of dialogue or two, these options don’t change anything long-term.
Defend the civilians
Several enemies attack the group. Fend off the enemies.
Talk to Ibuki
Find Ibuki on the road, settling a dispute. This creates a dialogue option:
- [I would exile him.]
- [I would forgive him.]
These dialogue choices don’t change anything. Choose whichever you wish. You still unlock the follow-up quest, Homecoming, no matter what you choose. You will also unlock 
The Ronin trophy/achievement (Meet Ibuki).
This finishes Ambush Interrupted in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
