The Tea Room is a room for your Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Once built, like the Zashiki, it increases your ration efficiency by 20%, making your healing more effective.

How to unlock the Tea Room in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
When you first reach the Hideout, the Tea Room will be locked with a notification that you have to “offer support to a Yamashiro tea master.” It doesn’t tell you who to talk to or where to go — or that you’re actually looking for a specific quest.
You’ll already have the quest: It’s “Tea Bowls for Rikyu” on the People of Yamashiro board of your Objectives menu. You’ll just have to wait until you can explore Yamashiro in the main story before you can unlock the Tea Room — specifically the town of Kyoto.
You’ll find Tea Master Sen no Rikyu in north Kyoto a few blocks north of Nijo Palace.
When you talk to him, he’ll ask you to find him some tea bowls on your travels.
The first set of tea bowls you bring him will unlock the Tea Room.
Where to find tea bowls in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The tea bowls that Tea Master Sen no Rikyu is looking for are sold by ornament merchants and will be listed as quest items.
The first two sets you can find are in Sakai and Kyoto both for 125 mon.
There are a total of seven tea sets to find in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but you only need to find one to unlock the Tea Room. Once unlocked, you can build it for 640 crops, 480 wood, 160 stone, and 1,670 mon.
