The Butterfly Collector is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you to all Butterfly Locations for The Butterfly Collector side mission.

- Quest Description: This enigmatic woman has hidden a series of colorful origami butterflies around West Osaka.

Starting Location: The Butterfly Collector
Find Origami Butterflies (0/10)
In the Osaka sub-region of Izumi-Settsu, there are certain trees which have an origami butterfly stuck on them, which you have to loot. They don’t show up on the map even in Guided Mode, so you have to roam around the area and use the 
/ 
button to see blue dots show up. They’re usually on taller trees though and are all located on the island south-west of Osaka Castle where the Osaka Kakurega and Temple of Osaka is situated.

Complete ‘All Will be Well’ sub-quest
Head to the well where the quest is marked, and you’ll overhear two workers mention a bamboo grove:
Next, you need to head north of Osaka Castle, next to Noda Village. You’ll find a cabin in the woods and a woman, Richo outside it.
Kill her, then open the cabin door for a small cutscene. Afterwards, follow the girl home to complete this objective.
Complete ‘Find the Child’ sub-quest
Head to the quest marker to see a young boy talking to the next target, Mucho.
She will try to run away, so assassinate her. Then talk to the boy and follow him home.
Complete ‘One That Got Away’ sub-quest
Find the child, sat on the floor in a stable:
The target (Shucho) will then appear 50m north-east of where you spoke to the child. Assassinate her.
Complete ‘Paper Trail’ sub-quest
Talk to the paper merchant in his house.
Complete ‘Chrysalis’ sub-quest
Head to the marker north-west of Fisherman’s District and pick up the diary page.
Assassinate Kacho
She is in Nishinomaru Garden.
Return to the Gamemaker
Head back to the Gamemaker where you first started this quest. Pick a name for the woman and you’ll end the quest.
