The Fatherless Monk is the 15th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Fatherless Monk main mission.

• Quest Giver: Automatically appears after completing the prologue
• Requirement: Complete the prologue
• Recommended Level: 7
• Reward: 1000 EXP
• Quest Description: In the search for one of her father’s killers, Naoe hears of a warrior-monk named Kyonyo who might have some answers.

Talk to Kyonyo

Find this quest on the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Onryo Group and select the quest underneath The Wounded.

Make your way south of Sakai to the Gansensji Temple.

Kill all enemies

You encounter a fight. Help your allies fend off your enemies.

Talk to Kyonyo

Find Kyonyo near the temple stairs. He presents you with two dialogue choices:

• [I’ve come seeking vengeance.]
• [I’m here to keep a promise.]

Another dialogue choice:

• [There is always hope.]
• [Kyonyo hasn’t corrupted me.]

These dialogue choices do not affect the outcome. Choose whichever ones you wish.

This finishes The Fatherless Monk in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
