Assassin’s Creed Shadows contains 8 types of side activities (Temples, Shrines, Kuji-kiri, Hidden Trails, Katas, Horse Archery, Kofun, Castles). When synchronizing viewpoints they will appear on the map as white question marks. When you go near the question mark it turns into an orange icon that indicates what side activity it is. Castles have white icons instead of orange.
The map below shows all side activity locations. This way you can quickly find the specific ones you’re looking for without needing to unfog the whole map.
All of them are still obtainable after the story in free-roam, nothing is missable.
