The Greatsword Charging Attack in "Monster Hunter: Wild" is a super powerful attack with very high attack power in the game. However, the thing to note is that the transition charge attack will only produce a second-level charging attack. The transition charge is to keep charging until your character automatically swings.
What are the consequences of the Monster Hunter's Wilderness Great Sword Transition Charging Attack
Big Sword has three types of attacks (chargeable and chopping, powerful charging and chopping, real charging and chopping) that can be charged, causing them to cause more damage per level of charge. These charge levels can also affect the damage of other attacks, such as shovels or slashes.
However, if the Great Sword is charged for too long, it will cause an overcharge attack (stay charged until your character automatically swings), this attack is not ideal because it is considered a level 2 charging attack. To avoid this, you must release the attack immediately when your character flashes red.
